Solutions

  1. Sandy_Bridge's post in NGX not loading in FSX:SE was marked as the answer   
    Fixed it already. I had SimConnect.cfg in My Documents, which was causing the problem.
  2. Sandy_Bridge's post in 4:3 monitor was marked as the answer   
    Of course it will work, just remember to select the 4:3 option in the FSX menu (I don't remember which one), and don't enable the WideViewAspect in fsx.cfg.
