    Some times you have to own up to your stupidity. It turns out that my line of sight was straight downward to the runway, hence the grey lifeless texture with mysterious white blocks. All I had to do was lift my gaze...just a little,,,and a wonderful virtual world came into view. Ok now I've confessed, you must promise not to tell anyone.... :blush:
