    Yes it does.  According to the manual, Vector uses some textures from Global.  Here is a quote from the Vector Manual: 
     
    Do I Need FTX Global BASE?
    Quick answer: Yes! FTX Global VECTOR is specifically designed for FTX Global BASE, and calls many textures only found in that product. Attempting to use Vector with default textures or other third party texture products is not supported and will lead to unpredictable results.
