Ive done that i forgot to post that i had sweetfx

I have win 8.1 and I can only use fsx with the dx10 option. Do any of you know a solution to this problem.

Thanks I've been testing out shaders with DX10 and I've chosen SweetFX, and now the DX10 option is gone.

I've turned on the preview of dx 10, the supposed fix. but most of my textures disappeared, and the only fix is to uncheck dx 10 how do i fix this?

The PMDG 737-800/900 was working fine, until I install the SP1 for the 737 and installed the expansion, after i installed these, the game loaded until the main menu, then Fatal Error. I've tried to uninstall the expansion and repair, but it just got worse, the crashes before the main menu appears now.
