One last question... Is it possible that some of the airplanes texture looks bad because of the actual airplane? I mean like its because they have their own texture files and the developers who made that airplane did not made as super HD or whatever. Any thoughts on that? Thanks

Well, I had FSX since 2009 I believe but never used it a lot because I had cheap computer. But then just recently I got my gaming PC (Which I use the most for BF3) and I decided to get back to FSX since I am doing my pilot instruments rating and I know that using the simulator for IFR and as well as VFR will help me get some simulator experience. And of course! FSX is not taking over my actual classes. But yes, understanding FSX is quite a challenge for me because I just "started" using it. @@JSkorna, I am taking a look at it. Its pretty long but I'm sure it will be very helpful. Thanks

mmmm... Well, the texture is not really smooth, there is not glare etc, and I also notices the textures are not sharp and so the image is not really clear. That also goes to the terrain. Any ideas?

Ok... I have reinstalled everything and this is how it looks like. I am guessing its looking a little better but not as good. About the fsx.cfg file, I dont understand what do I need to add. Does anyone has that file and could share it with me if its not too much to ask? The airplane looks a little better but I just dont know. In the videos, they have like some glare and it just looks amazing. I am still waiting to ask on the other forums to ask. Thanks

Ok... Will check all. I am currently uninstalling and starting all over again with the Admin option all the time and hope that helps. Will keep you posted. If you guys have any other idea, please let me know Thank you guys for your help.

Yeah... I did set everything. Everything is on the best setting on REX app. I have spent over 6 hours trying to fix it but I can't. :( And yes, I did register and put my order number etc and is good to go but I see that they take a long time to accept you :S I will wait for them and then make a post over there.

Hello guys, I am having some issues with REX Essential Plus Overdrive. I just got it yesterday. Well, my issue is that for some reason things are not being applied to FSX. The graphics are not bad bad, but they are not nice though. I have seen the videos and my fsx does not look the same. The graphics are not smooth and looking good as on the videos. The terrain is horrible etc. I have cheked my settings and they are on Ultra etc and by the way, my PC is a custom PC with 2x GTX 670's and a 1770K i7 processor. I have followed many videos and I just dont know why is not working. Also, why are the FPS so slow when I can play other games like BF3 @ 160 FPS? Please see the image attached for reference. The long process of installing the textures etc I have already done it. Any ideas what is causing this issue? Thanks + Sorry for my grammar. English is not my first language. Also, any ideas why the FPS are so low when using a super computer? I play Battlefield 3 at about 160 FPS and this one is slow? Thanks
