  5. Hi Everyone. I’ve got bad news. I Got it fixed =( The problem seems to be from my usb drivers crashing with saitek yoke driver or my driver was just corrupted. As a lot of you told me to update I did. But last week I learned that gigabyte does not upgrade my usbs drivers anymore. So then I bought A PCI usb 2.0. SO for anyone who faces this problem do the following. Make sure that you switch off the usb power safe in Win 7, and that the Windows are at high performance and does not go to sleep insert usb into every usb port, as you might have put ten it into a damage usb port check if your usb drivers is up to date go into your bio of your mb and see if all your seems to you to be correct Check if the yoke works on other pc in the house. Sometimes USB support in you bios causes this problem so make sure that that is disabled The Saitek yoke use a lot of power. Try using a power usb hub as, as a lack of power cause this problem Buy a pci usb card 2.0 or 3.0. take it to a pc clinic Thank you all for your support, I hope this helps some1 with the same problem P.s I do not take any respossibilitys if your pc break or crash id trying the methords
  6. HaHAHAHAHAHA. gonna be stuck like the b787 for 4 month till problem solved. . LOL
  7. <p>Thank you everyone. Im going to keep the yoke. Strangly the yoke did work in the begining for long time. Then stupidly I restarted the pc and then bang stoped working. Ill add a usb card in future and that might help stoped the problem. To be honest I thinking on staying on windows 7. Im affraid I will it wont work on xp as well. Im just bit lost why it does work on my laptop win 7 and not on the pc. Maybe the power hub I bought is not working as it should..<br /> If this is a windwos 7 problem saitek must remove the tag on their box saying it is compatible for win 7..<br /> thank's for the replies. and let you know if I get it fixed and hopefully help some1 with the same problem</p>
  8. Hi eveyone. Well I got me a new yoke, and the same problem. I think power problem or usb problem. What I saw is that one of the yoke hub failed to install correctly, which might be a power problem. . =D

  12. http://www.saitekforum.com/showthread.php?t=18513 http://www.fixya.com/support/t3314727-saitek_pro_flight_yoke_quadrant_stop yes thank you everyone for helping. Seems I maybe have a power problem. But I will exchange it for a new one in case there is a problem with that this yoke, If the new one fails to work properly, Ill keep it for the future untill I this one is being upgraded or take to pc clinic to fix this problem, I also contacted Saitek Via email, and gave them the link for this discusion. Sadly couldn't get it fix, but all learned me alot of thing on the pc as well as problem I saw on the pc that going to need fixing asap. Thank you Johann Botes
  13. I was in the event view when it locked up. Nothing showed up at those times with a warning sighn I also went to device manger and said the device is working properly. I've notice that the time keeps going to 0000 after a few min it locked up and then returend to pc time and the returned to 0000 and then went back to pc time. I called the store they said I only need the bill, they can ecchange it for me.
  14. OKey thank you all for the help. I will do this when im finsih studying for exams today. This was what i was looking for a event viewer. Hope fully it will show me where something stopped working. P.S.. How do you all know these stuff. WOW.... =D
  15. Hi ray. I installed saitek software yesterday and it came with it, hoping it will be solved,. Im starting to think of formting my pc. As there might be a file conflickting with the yoke. Problem is yeserday was the last day to give it back. By any change can I fly the yoke on a remote pc? use my laptopto as the steering? Thank you. =D
  16. Here is the attachments. I had Put my yoke upside down so that it weight push the yoke downwards, whcih caused the cross to move upwards. Whenthe yoke had no responds, the crossed stayed at its upward possion. It's like it drivers freezes on my pc. ( attachment)
  17. No need to say thanks, I have to say thank you. What I did notice today wasthat some USB take longer than others. SOit could be the USB's. What I'll try to do tomorrow is clean it. Maybe dausk is causing this problem as im living in the middle east.. But it is very unlikely. Now im just waitng for it to lock up. Hahaha KInda weired.. Once again thank you. Johann Botes
  18. Yup. Flash drives, external harddrive, mouse, headset.....
  19. ALL the USB's have been tested and all failed. I even Turned off my anti virus software , but no luck as well. Seems like my pc blocks it signal it receives from the device .. Thank you Johann Botes

  23. Thank you, for your support. I thought this today I will try to do this, because seems alot of people have the same problem as me. SO hopefully there is at lest 1 out 9 usb ports that works, If I cant get it fix by then end of this moth I'll take the pc to the clinic. have a nice day Hi RJ I do have that BIOS Version is F3 I did disable that onboared 3.0 as I had a warning sign telling me that has no drivers. WHenI disabled it the warning sighn dissapeared Ill check my usb in the bio again . Do you have yoke from saitek and the same MB as well. Thank you for your support. Johann
  24. Im sure it is not my fsx. Because saitek control panel also shows there is no movement when I move the throttles or the yoke. That little X do not move around the block when I move the yoke.. the the bars for throttles do mnot move at all when the 3 axis throttles is moved. It only work for 10 min and and then locks up. Also it did work so far 2 times for longer as 1 hour when fsx was on,
  25. I do not think it is FSX at all. Because I use the calibrate methored as Ray explained. I used it on all my pc in the house and the Yoke did not Lock UP. But in the one that was build with FSX on it and the only pC with FSX it lock's up. Do you think if I buy me a USB boared to be connected Directly into my MB will Fix it? And how are you all doing. Thank you all for your support. It means alot for me. =D <3 Johann
