  1. It is actually a hardware combination of both TV and videocard to get the HDMI running at 60Hz. The 4K TV needs to have at least an HDMI port with the specification HDMI 2.0 to handle 60HZ input. The videocard as well. I bought on November 2014 a Toshiba LED TV UHD 58L8400 58in 4K at costco.ca for $1200, The TV has a one 60HZ HDMI Port and three HDMI pors at 30Hz. The nvidia video card has also HDMI ver 2.0 to run at 60Hz. I am running FSX with an nvidia videocard Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 - at 3840x2160 at 60HZ using the HDMI port. FSX Runs very well. The detail of the aircraft depends on the source. Microsoft's stock planes look good. If it is a freebe it may either look good or bad depending. If the aircraft is payware it will look just awesome. With my setup I am seating almost three feet from the TV and sometimes I have to walk towards the TV to see the FSX menu because of the tiny fonts of the FSX menu. I am trying to figure out how to attach/upload a couple of pics. Jose. Pictures are in photobucket: http://s1031.photobucket.com/user/moicas2013/library/
