Vrinsight Airbus FCU - Need help getting it working with LINDA 2.5.7
Fgmcn, Be careful with vrisim..... even after you close it, it stays open in the running processes. Hit ctr alt del to verify vrisim is not running in the back ground after you close it.... scot, i am going to try your suggestions, receive a new ssd today. Will install vanilla fsx and p3d with only aaa320, linda and fcu combo and report back.

Vrinsight Airbus FCU - Need help getting it working with LINDA 2.5.7
I am sorry for the confusion. Yes you are right, when i start fsx the fcu briefly flashes like you say but then it goes back to the self identification screen. I am only able to get this working with vrisim software (uggh) and the default fsx airbus at the moment. VRisim can see the fcu on com 3. When i am using Linda, i do not use vrisim. Once i get linda working, i wont ever use vrisim. I wish i could see Aerosoft Airbus And Linda 2.5.7 on the screen. Right now i would jump for joy! Thanks for all of your help so far

Vrinsight Airbus FCU - Need help getting it working with LINDA 2.5.7
Hello ScotFlieger, I turned the FCU off, put the switch on HPA. Set up the values and it still stays on test mode. Do i need to set anything up in VRIsim before using it with Linda? I am totally lost with this FCU. When i purchased it, i was told this is really hard to get working. I never thought it would be this hard. Thanks in advance or your help

invalid pointer operadion due to touchscreen
ok, i think my problem is that i have 2 of them (different brands, different sizes, one if for FMS and the other is for center gauges and other gauges) and i am using the elo touch screen software for both of them, i installed the drivers for this monitor however i am unable to locate any software for it (the dell toucscreen software for this particular monitor) Since i already had one of them working i used the same software which works on both. If i can find the dell software i will try to see if that software can work on both of the monitors. I was thinking about getting an over lay for the other 4 monitors in the sim, that is out of the question at this time.

Greeg, Follow up question, How many touch screens do you have?

invalid pointer operadion due to touchscreen
Hello gregg, Are you using the dell touch driver software? I am debating not using the touch feature. Well i just tried using only the dell touch screen and got the same error. Once i remove both touch screens (the usb cables enabling the touch screen functions) LINDA works and displays the devices. See the picture below. Is it possible to configure the devices with the touchscreens (usb cable enabling the touch feature) not plugged in? Once the devices are setup for the specific A/C then plug them back in. Is this possible?

invalid pointer operadion due to touchscreen
Hello ScotFlieger, Here is one of the devices (it has an elo touch system, this info is for the touch system, the actual monitor is below, or vise versa, i am lost at this moment) Elo Touchsystems TouchScreen - USB HID MT Collection HID\VID_04E7&PID_0050&REV_0100&Col01 HID\VID_04E7&PID_0050&Col01 HID_DEVICE_UP:000D_U:0004 HID_DEVICE Tyco Electronic Tablet 0x50 2216cu Accutouch/4-Wire Resistive USB\VID_04E7&PID_0050&REV_0100 USB\VID_04E7&PID_0050 My other touch screen monitor is a dell e2014t and it is able to use the elo touchscreen software for the touch screen functions. I did not install the dell software as i figured 2 different software's may cause an issue with stability. I am unable to locate the actual Dell info at this time. The only thing i was able to find on the dell was this in the monitor section of the device manager MONITOR\DEL40AC Both monitors utilize the touch features via USB. I hope this helps, I really miss using LINDA, Especially now more than ever since i have completed building my home cockpit.... Again, Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer! Here is a picture of the device manager if it helps.

invalid pointer operadion due to touchscreen
hey guys, I am having the same issue. I was getting the same error with Linda 1.13 (invalid pointer). Then updated to Linda 2.5 and the error message now says "Device cannot be opened". I have 2 touch screens setup on my sim (2 of the 6 monitors, the other 4 are non-touch screen). After i hit "Ok" none of my Saitek devices populate in Linda. Any update on this issue? Thanks in advance for any help!

Yet Another Saitek Question
I know this thread is kind of old however this is a major problem with the multi panel. My rotary switch was extremely difficult to turn and then all of a sudden it locked up (only had it a year or so but i do alot of flying). Since i could not wait for an rma (im inpatient like that), i took it apart and replaced the rotary know with one from radio shack ($3.49, 6 position 2 pole). The wires connected to the switch are really cheap so i replaced them as well, after 30 minutes of work, she is working like new again. I also purchased different knobs for it which work so much better. Im happy now! i am just puzzeled at how cheap of a switch saitek used for this function and how expensive this unit is. When you take it apart, you really see how cheap quality the multi panel is. VRInsight is next on my list. hope this helps someone who's switch is getting harder and harder to turn.
