  1. Hello. I recently purchased the Aerosoft Airbus X for FSX. Looks like a great bird. However, whenever I try to fly it, FSX will freeze for 1-2 seconds every minute or so. I researched the issue and have tried every suggestion I can find. This includes the following:

    1. Disabling logging

    2. Reinstalling as admin

    3. Disabling all other addons

    4. Disabling the Aerosoft Airbus view system

    5. Changing the navigation database to Navigraph and installing a new airac cycle

This issue occurs in both internal and external views. My PC is fairly beefy so I don't think that's the issue. I have an i7 2600 and a GTX 760. This does not occur with any other addons.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks,

    Stephen Hobson

  2. No problem here.  Can you give us a route to try? Include SID/STAR if you're using them

Here's the last flight I flew in the MD80 from Richmond to Dallas:

    READE1 LYH PSK J22 VXV MEM J66 LIT BYP6

The FMS set the altitude of my first waypoint on final to ~9000 feet. I've never had this problem in the NGX.

Also, does the MD80 automatically reduce your speed to 250 or less just before descending below 10000 feet or does this have to be programmed into the FMS?

    Thanks.

  3. Hello. I'm an owner of the Leonardo MD 80. I've noticed that when I program routes into the FMS, the top of descent is placed incredibly close to my destination. This causes my descents to be in excess of 2000ft per minute. This also causes my speed to be very difficult to control. Has anyone else had this issue? How did you deal with it?

    Thanks,

    Stephen Hobson

  4. In the NGX, if you don't put in a assumed temp in the Perf page, for example -53 you will get the symptoms as described above.

How I discovered this one day was I accidentally put + instead of - before the number, and the NGX  went in circles and bank angle alerts etc etc.

Now the T7 is doing exactly that, disabling anything in fsuipc will not stop this, as most likely corrupted weather data is being read.

I'll give this a shot. Thanks!

  5. Hello. I've been flying the 777 for a while now and I have been thoroughly enjoying it. However, on occasion, while departing an airport or while on approach, the plane will make a dramatic turn and start making circles. This issue happens while near waypoints as well as in between waypoints. The turns are so dramatic that I get a "bank angle" warning from the plane.

Another issue that may be related to this is that the plane tends to travel to the left of the heading I select in the MCP. I only notice this happening during flights that the plane circles on. I haven't experienced these issues in any other PMDG product in the past. Does anyone know what's going on here?

    Thank you,

    Stephen Hobson

  6. The "sometimes I try to navigate manually" tells me you might have REALISTIC engagement on. If so, realistic parameters are needed. Make sure your flight path is stable, FD crosshairs centered and no trim needed,..... Then try again.... Let us know.....

FWIW I always restart FSX between flights- probably completely unnecessary.... But that's what I do.....12 hrs or 50 minutes..... I restart.

It looks like this was my issue. I was always trying to engage it while climbing. Thanks for the help! :)

  7. Hello. I have the PMDG 737NGX. Usually my first flight goes well. After I land and am setting up everything for my next flight, I triple-check EVERYTHING and ensure that the route is correct and active and that everything is configured properly. However, once I get in the air, the autopilot simply won't engage. Sometimes I try to manually navigate to my route and try to engage it but that still doesn't work. Does anyone know what's going on?

  8. When I make an ILS landing, the rudder on my PMDG 747 becomes stuck in a random direction. I have checked the rudder trim and it is set to zero. Screenshots are attached. I just use my mouse as the yoke and no extra hardware that might need calibration so I doubt that's the issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  9. Hey everyone. I just purchased the PMDG 747-400 a few days ago and am having an issue with it. When I make an approach to any runway, the approach is always at an angle and never aligned with the runway. A screenshot has been attached to this post to show you what I mean.

Another issue that I'm sure is somewhat related is the fact that my navigation screen shows the plane traveling along the path sideways.

Does anyone know what's going on here? Any help is appreciated. :)
