  1. Thanks Jim, Fantastically quick response. Not usually keen on those programs that scan your computer and tell you what needs updating but tried it and it suggested a more recent Intel HD driver. Wasn't available to find it on Intel's website but found a version to download with a Google search (even more nervous about drivers from unknown sources!). Touch wood, it seems to be working fine - I can change settings over and over again and it hasn't crashed one yet. For those in a similar situation the driver I used is 10.18.10.3325. I will report back in a few days with an update. Kevin
  2. Hi, Just built a new system and keep getting Fatal Error CTDs with the faulting module being shown as igdumdim32.dll. Simple specs are : i7-4770k on an ASUS Z87-A board 16Gb ram of 1600MHz (memtests OK) No graphics card - using the onboard Intel HD4600 Windows 7 64 Ultimate Using latest ASUS drivers Runs fine on opening with 1920*1080 and most settings to the right (Autogen at Medium to low) with 20fps locked. (even with Orbx PNW installed) HIGHMEMFIX=1 mod has been applied. Tried uiautiomationcore.dll but makes no difference. Basically what happens is if I keep selecting the menu to change aircraft or graphics setting it eventually crashes when going to reload the textures, autogen, etc. with the above error - copy of Event Viewer info below Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e17d3 Faulting module name: igdumdim32.dll, version: 9.18.10.3257, time stamp: 0x51f73fa8 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000b0581 Faulting process id: 0x1664 Faulting application start time: 0x01ced413a53041ab Faulting application path: E:\FSX\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\igdumdim32.dll Report Id: 235121ee-4007-11e3-bf85-74d02b92c925 Set application compatibility to Vista (SP2) ; Run as Admin but still crashes. Tried different Intel graphics drivers (new and old) but makes no difference. Even tried installing on fresh Win 8 Enterprise trial but get the same error. From a bit of experimenting seems error occurs after installing FSX SP2 although that could be imagination. Any thoughts? Anyone else suffered with this - and would a dedicated graphics card help although trying not to spend too much more (and 20-30fps is fine for me!) Thanks, Kevin
