  1. I downloaded and installed the update, updated my graphics driver and also ensured Windows was current. Now it gets to about halfway across the loading bar, the music cuts out and it crashes to desktop. Over the last few days I have installed FSUIPC7 as well as Mobiflight. It was working perfectly before tonight's update. I checked my community folder and it is empty. Anyone having a similar issue, or have any suggestions? UPDATE/FIX: I uninstalled FSUIPC7 and it continued to load.
  2. I just posted in another topic this exact problem. I have triple monitor setup as surround and the view out the front was blurry, as well as all of the lighting seemed way too big and almost balloon-like. When I changed back to single monitor, all those issues went away. Hopefully MS can fix this because I really miss that extra FOV!
  3. I have triple 27s configured with nVidia surround but noticed all of the lighting seems really big and blurry, as well as the view out the front window being blurry. Does anyone else notice this too? Once I disabled surround and went back to a single monitor, the view was perfect, with lighting appearing to the be correct size and no blurriness at all. I set my resolution properly to 5760x1080, which is 3-1920x1080 monitors. Any thoughts?
  4. So is that 1/4" diameter, or length? If length, I would assume that is the knob shaft only, not including the threaded portion?
  5. Hey everyone, first post here so forgive me if it's in the wrong place. I'm a licensed private pilot, building a Cessna 172SP panel for use with X-Plane 11 (of course) and have a question about rotary encoders. I'm building the panel with analog/steam gauges and plan to use them for things like the heading bug, altimeter setting, etc. I'm new to building electronics but have been around electronics my whole life, so I get the idea of how they work. My question is, how do you know which ones to buy? I see 6mm, 12mm--what is that referring to? My "panel" is 1/4 inch plywood so I need the threaded portion to be more than that, otherwise I'll have to rout out behind the panel enough to give the nut enough threads to hold onto on the front side. Lastly, I'll be wiring them to a Bodnar BU0836X board. Thanks for the help--love this forum!
