  1. Hi Gerry So far I've installed Volumes 5,6,7,8 using a FSX to Prepar3d migration tool ( new version for V2). The install went ok but I had to manually add the scenery into the scenery library. I've tried a few flights and the scenery looks great with good frame rates. Only issue appears to be with volume 8 Central Scotland, the inland water is showing as landclass scenery. On Prepar3d V1.4 I had the whole of GenX VFR scenery for Scotland, England and Wales installed with no problems. As the inland water texture issue only seems to be effecting Vol 8 it may have been a glitch with the installation and I'll do more work on it. One good tip is to copy all the files on the DVD's for each Gen X area into one folder on the hard drive i.e. all the files on the Vol 8 DVD's into one folder called Vol 8. Whilst this takes quite a while if you need to reinstall it is done in minutes without swapping 7 DVD's in and out. Personally I think the Generation X VFR scenery adds a great deal to the flying experience and some of the views are stunning. Kevan
