Hi Jean-luc, I appreciate your explanation for the power button, to bad then. Maybe you could give us the choice in the ini file. For the message I get after about 30s after the unit is powered up it is: MSG = "RXP Personal License software for home-use entertainment only no commercial use allowed" Any posibility we could disable this in the ini file for exemple. Hi, Not sure if this is the same for everybody but my GNS530 turn on automatically when I turn on the Avionic power. Could we have the GNS Power button working and be able to turn on and off the GNS530 independently from the Avionics power. Also is there a way to not have the MSG appear reminding us we are not in a real aircraft. I do not see the point. Thanks Ian

Hi, I have finally understood why my window GNS disappears some time: In fact with a nobezel window GNS530W (I have not tried with the other models) when I turn off the Avionics the display disappears totally attached is my ini file, please try this ini file and turn on and of the avionics, you should see the GNS window disappear. Thanks, About : I tried with the 6.211, I found the files copied them over the the GNS but no success, the nav_db2.bin file that I renamed worldwide.bin is not working. Any idea why ? is it working for you ? From the GTN trainer 6.11 I got the 0716 Nav data working, as I understand the 6.211 has the 1116 nav dat but as said not working or not recnized when copied over to the GNS db folder as worldwide.bin?

Hi, I followed your instruction and successfully updated the bmap.bin and worldwide.bin using the files from the GTN 6.1.1 Then I tried with the 6.211, I found the files copied them over the the GNS but no success, the nav_db2.bin file that I renamed worldwide.bin is not working. Has someone magged to use this file from the 6.211 ?

Hi, If I can add a tip (I lost a lot of time with this) Do not forget that the plugin will save the current GNS window positions when you leave your aircarft for an other one or quit x-plane. This meaning if you modify the ini file with the aircraft loaded in x-plane, your modification will disappeare when you quit x-plane or load an other aircraft. The good way to do this is: - Load the aircraft - A one time action: select the device you want to use in the plugin menu inside x-plane (this will create the ini file in your aircraft folder) - load an other aircraft (or quit x-plane) - modify the ini file as you want - reload the aircraft Ian

Hi, In x-plane 11 I am trying to get the Window view with no bezel, but when I set this up nobezel = true in the ini file nothing is shown any more, its strange because I can catch the edged to resize but nothing is shown. I tried the same in x-plane 10 and it works fine. Could you please look into this I think its a question of layer or z coordinate of the GNS530, as if it is behind and not infront of the x-plane 11 external view. Thanks Ian

hi yes I select x-plane 11 and then the x-plane folders. checked also the check list and all is ok. but tryed it over and over it does not create a folder in my x-plane 11 plugin folder ?

Hi, Just purchased GNS530 v2 installed it into x-plane 11, but not plugins folder was created in x-plane 11 and nothing is happening in the simulator. the plugin does install it self into my x-plane 10 folder, then I can copy the plugin iunto my x-plane 11 and I get my GNS530 please can you check your installation file and tell us what to do, is there any differences in the plugin bertween the versions ? thanks ian

Yes, On a secondary screen with no bezel AND no frame, unfurtunatly Windows allways put's a frame around programs, does any one know how to get this away and have our GNS750 (and later 530) in a second screen with absolutly no frame around the image ?
