  1. I've just checked and it should be working now: https://streamable.com/tcm263
  2. I tried limiting FPS as suggested but even if is very smooth, everything is slower like ghosting effect (Test here: https://streamable.com/tcm263), but it's not a P3D thing, because I noticed the exact same issue on other programs and games. I don't know if my monitor LG Ultragear 27GN850 needs special settings...I assume my pc just doesn't like locked framerate 😅
  3. That's interesting! I'll try that! Thank you very much! Yes, 40FPS is my average in all conditions. I tried that and it's nice and smooth (I also tried locking 36 using 144Hz Monitor). The only thing is that I feel a sort of "ghosting" when limiting framerate from Nvidia CP, like a sort of artifact making movements a little bit slower than normal, it always did with P3D and that's why I always used unlimited. Also, another thing is that locking for example at 40, the frames in-game still go sometimes above like 46-43 and back to 40. Is that normal? Thank you all so much for your help 😄
  4. EUREKA! I made 5 tests and I think I've found what is causing my issue! Turning OFF volumetric clouds (But keeping EA ON) causes my stutters. Please note I'm not using any external clouds like REX for the test. - Test 1: (as suggested ) Monitor at minimal freq. set to 60 Hz + P3D Vsync ON + Volumetric Clouds ON = Smooth (But at 60Hz I feel the pc is generally less smooth during normal use like moving mouse and scrolling web pages). - Test 2: Monitor 60 Hz + Vsync OFF + EA ON + Vol. Clouds ON = Still smooth, maybe a little bit less. - Test 3: Monitor 120 Hz + Vsync ON + EA ON + Vol. Clouds ON = Smooth - Test 4: Monitor 120 Hz + Vsync OFF + EA ON + Vol. Clouds ON = Smooth, but little bit less. - Test 5: Monitor 120 Hz + Vsync ON + EA ON + Volumetric Clouds OFF = STUTTERS. Settings here: https://imgur.com/cxsoMwj I will test more (especially the fact 60Hz usually makes my whole pc less smooth).
  5. @SteveW I really appreciate your help, thank you so much for that 🙂 I just need some time to test in every possible way and I will update if I find the problem, so maybe could help other people too having the same issue.
  6. Not really like this, the only few problems I had were at first V5 version with EA, but got fixed by LM long time ago... The last V5.2 worked for me perfectly and that's what it seems to be strange. Yesterday I tried to disable the variable refresh rate (VRR) and HAGS on W10 settings and it seems to make things a little bit better, but it could be "placebo effect", further testing will be needed.
  7. Just did a quick test without add-ons but there are no differences. I followed the steps deleting Client, content, scenery and after that, manually deleting all the remaining folders on %appdata% etc. including the main P3D folder. The only thing I did not delete was the "Prepar3D v5 Add-ons" outside the main directory (on my second SSD).
  8. Yes, that's correct! That's the first time I'm having this. I completely removed everything before installing V5.3 HF2 coming from V5.2 (since I skipped the previous 5.3 version).
  9. I will test more regarding addons, here is a quick screen about CPU usage during my previous test: https://imgur.com/IkiHf9x Thank you very much again for your help!
  10. Here I am, forgot to specify I am with HT Enabled. Just did a quick test following your instructions and I noticed a slight improvement, it only remains the strange stutters when quickly returning to leveled flight. For the rest I'd say it's smoother. I tried both, with low settings and the "normal" setting I was using until now and I had the exact same result. Also with FPS limited to 36 on Nvidia control panel is less smooth than unlimited (I always had the feeling Nvidia CP doesn't work well for me when limiting FPS). So, final verdict, smoothing is definitely better with the exceptions of quick plane maneuvers. Test here: https://streamable.com/9mmx5p Could it be related to views/smoothing and/or Chaseplane stuff? Thank you very much for your help, really appreciated 😄
  11. My CPU is i7-6700K (not overclocked) 4GHz (to max 4.2GHz). This is my standard setting. Thank you very much for the help, I will test it!
  12. This is what I'm getting regarding micro-stutters: test (streamable.com) (Sorry for the low quality upload)
  13. @Ray Proudfoot I wrote the original post in English, but I think during the edit for a grammar error, my Chrome translator messed up with an automatic translation to Italian. I'm sorry for the issue! Exactly! 🤣 That's an interesting input...I think we are experiencing the same issue, because the nano-stutters are not very noticeable, but happening especially when flying close to terrain and/or watching the ground.
  14. My monitor is LG Ultragear (27gn850) 2K 144Hz. I tried to lower the refresh rate to 120, 100, 60 but same thing, for example 60Hz for me is the worst because I also see stuttering on YT and during normal use of the pc. Using the p3d counter, the drops aren't very noticeable (for example 80 - 99 - 70 - 90 - 59) and the minimum I think was 40. By "aggressive maneuvers" I mean pitching up and down quickly, and during tonneau stuttering occurs when the aircraft quickly returns to level flight. (I can make a video tonight if needed). I tried every way limiting to 30fps in p3d and outside but the result was not smooth. I'm starting to think it could be related to monitor refresh rate. Thank you!
  15. Hello! I did a complete fresh clean install to V5.3 Hotfix 2 and I'm experiencing for the first time some Micro-stutters but with nice FPS (80-90) on stock sim without addons. It happens especially during "aggressive maneuvers" on the standard F35. I deleted everything before reinstalling but I honestly don't know what to do. I'm using the same graphics settings as previous versions when it was more smooth. Has anyone had this issue before?
