I regret ever hearing or seeing the name "reality-xp" My view is that this is a fraudulent product. It appears to use its own data base that is years out of date that makes it totally useless for simulator. Then its next to impossible to remove. It keeps popping up even when its files are removed, You constantly have to go to plug ins and turn it off. Then there is their smart word not allowed refund fine print that means their refunds have more hurdles before they are issued. While it apparently does give your GPS more pages its out of date I never did get it working and I'm told that everyone scraps it because its nav data base is very old and you can' use charts issued in the last few years.

Urgently needed to do some sim, fired up X-Plane 12 and there is that dreaded pop up "Activation Tbient_Manifest_v1.0 Enter Serial number from Reality XP wanting the serial number that I can no longer find. I found a proof of purchase but the site seems to be devoid of a support contact but points towards this forum. How does one go about getting a key for this X-Plane 12 pop up? Not impressed with how Reality-SP remove any tech support

The support for this product is non-existant. After downloading, Expect Windows to block it, then you have to remove that block, then you get a pop up windown for RealityXP on top of X-Plane 11 that cannot be removed, it can be minimized and placed on the screen somewhere. Thats not good enough. Then you discover that you cannot use Navigraph or the data base that came with X-Plane 12 , they only allow you to use Jeppesen. I don't know of any home sim user who can afford full Jep service.

Thanks to all the Australian replies. Wow. I'm still shell shocked from the lack of a response from Reality-XP they seem to be devoid of customer empathy or support. Their Installer it appears, I used over 10 years ago, and burried inside it was my old address that did not match the credit card. I had to delete it all and start again several times before enven the credit card payment went thru. What's shocking is the lack of guidance on how to install it and or "get it working". Yes, its a great product, if I ever get to see it work.

After about 24 hours of effort, managed to get Reality-XP installed Reality-SP shows up in the Plug Ins but my display still only shows 3 pages in NAV I'm unable to find any check list or tutorial on Reality-XP to get it working.

For the last 24 hours I've tried repeatedly unsuccessfully to make a purchase. This is a disturbing product. (1) there is no contact available if you have any issue. (2) it took me hours to figure out how to download their installer and then more hours in order to get "the coupon" (3) then you have to sign up, it will NOT accept any password combination I provide. (4) It seemed to take over my computer, insisting that I log into Windows 10 in my computer and then had to use the MSN hotmail. and even then, i still cannot get to make a purchase. Did the developers ever attempt to make a purcahse on their own site? Thanks to Reality-xp for wasting so much of our time and creating a purchase nightmare.

I've had X-plane a long time, still on X-Plane 11 with a Coranado PA31 and King air 200 with a Real Sim Gear Garmin 530 that no longer works with the King Air 200, the heading bug disappeared I'm really concerned that X-Plane 12 does not provide any light twin or PA31 or King Air 200 with a Garmin 530 option in their aircraft. It seems that IFR practice is no longer a goal of X-Plane but rather scenery. Then when i go to order the Reality-XP product, you can't even download their 30% coupon, if their coupon does not work, it makes you wonder what else in Reality XP does not work. Any ideas appreciated.

I just went to click on the 30% coupon for the Garmin 530 and you apparently are ment to Unzip rxp-athome-2020.cpn which does not appear to be able to be unzipped. Not a great impression.

I'm running X-Plane 10 and after installing the drivers for the Saitek Radio Panel, I noticed that at first, there was NO RED LED display on the panel. Then after recycling the X-Plane 10, and repeatedly unplugging and plugging in the Panel and using the Windows 8 Test software from Saitek, that the displays showed but were all, missing the middle horizontal segment display. 3 looks like ] 8, looks like a 0. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem?
