    As I only possess the Standard edition of MSFS 2020 the Zlin Shock Ultra is not available to me

    However the Smaug STOL aircraft (freeware at Flightsim.to) is an acceptable substitute and enables landings at these difficult and challenging airstrips

    Bit tender re Microsoft version of MSFS  2020 Premium Deluxe

    Had a computer crash and now my Microsoft Store copy is irretrievable in spite of my Microsoft Account showing the purchase-a lot of money lost

    Got a Standard MSFS 2020 Version via Steam and that operates -is retrievable too as out with the arcane Microsoft systems

    P3D and XPlane straight forward and in much more use again by me especially P3Dv5 and 6

    I have a new install of Standard MSFS 2020 on the Steam platform 

    All good except L1 and L3 buttons on my Hotas Thrustmaster will not bind to Cockpit and External views 

    In a previous Microsoft Store install of MSFS 2020 de luxe version these buttons worked OK

    Any tips on remedying this situation?

    I can change views with a Keyboard command but it’s a bit clumsy

    The community folder that previously was attached to the Microsoft installation of MSFS 2020 now seems to be working for the Steam version of MSFS 2020 installed on the same computer-somehow?!

    No doubt my Microsoft account,Store and Xbox settings will be restored in time -after 30 days they tell me but I won’t be going back there in a hurry 

    If I ever get MSFS 2024 it will probably be the Steam version 

    Thanks to all for your help-I am flying again!

    Some technical help please 

    I have a Microsoft installed version of MSFS 2020 installed but it is currently inoperable plus a Steam copy of MSFS 2020 also installed but operable -all on the same computer 

    Where do I find the Community folder for the Steam version-is there one?

    With the original Microsoft MSFS 2020 ie the initial installed version the Community folder is easy to find

    Long term this is not a tenable situation but in the meantime I would like to use some Addons for the Steam version of MSFS 2030 -if it’s possible

    Microsoft unable to send an email

    Gave a mobile phone no-got a confirmation text-hurrah! --30 days wait now till security updated 

    Much P3D and XPlane flying for now!

    My Win 11 setup refused to restart after installing P3Dv6

    All was recovered-P3D and XPlane all reinstalled and up and running but my MSFS 2020…….!
    I am quite experienced having flight simmed for many many years

    Microsoft has me beat  -I can access my Microsoft Account and see my £100 purchase but the Microsoft Store and its X Box minions refuse to let me sign in -security I suppose?

    I can’t even repurchase as an installation would not be allowed-I tried it with a different sign in procedure-Microsoft refunded the  purchase-thank goodness that worked 

    MSFS 2024 will not be for me!
