Prepar3D: Which Airbus?
Hello, I am looking to purchase an airbus to fly on Prepar3D however I am not sure which one to buy. Lots of posts around this and other forums have said that the Aerosoft airbus is the best one to buy, however I just want to make sure that the one that I want to purchase is the correct one. I've seen some other airbuses on the Aerosoft website that go under the title "Airbus Extended X" or something along those lines along time ago and I can't seem to find the "extended" version or whatever it means. The only ones I see are these ones, the A318/319 & the A320/321, and the bundle version: http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd490!0,7460528670,13112 http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd490!0,7460528670,12958 http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,7460521670,D13235 I just want to make sure that I am purchasing the correct airbus, the one that everyone in the avation community uses! Thanks everyone in advance!

4690k or 4790k (FSX)
TheDiamondOreo replied to TheDiamondOreo's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThanks for all the replys guys, now I know that I'll get better performance with a 4690k and a 760. Soon I'll save up for a 780 or maybe even one of the 800 series cards that should be announced soon

4690k or 4790k (FSX)
TheDiamondOreo replied to TheDiamondOreo's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcI've got 16 gigs of Corsair Vengeance at 1866. So youre basically telling me that if I get the i5 and stick with my 760 I should get a lot better performance? (If I oc the i5) I would love to get a 770 or even a 780 and the i7 but for one the 770 is not that much of an upgrade from a 760 and money is an issue. If I were to get a 4790k and keep my 760 it would bottleneck a whole lot

4690k or 4790k (FSX)
I don't know if I should get a i5 4690k with my current gtx 760 or a i7 4790k with a new 780. Option B is obviously the more expensive route to go on but I would love to play FSX with a lot of addons (I already own REX and Carenado's TBM 850, and with my current setup it just isn't comfortable flying). As we all know, FSX is an older game so you need really good freaking hardware to play it comfortably. Supposedly nvidia + intel works fantastic with FSX. So main question is would there be a big difference between the 4690k + 760 and the 4790k + 780 when playing FSX (if anyone actually does) and would I be fine using just a 4690k and 760 Playing major flagship games like bf4 and bioshock I know I would do fine on either of those setups so normal gaming I'm gonna be fine. I really hope that I can use the 4690k with my 760 in fsx because i really cant fork out 500 more dollhairs for an improved graphics card, and it will obviously bottleneck if I'm running 4790k + 760. Thanks in advance guys Also, would I need to reinstall windows after upgrading motherboard and cpu? I'd be coming from an 8350 (If anyone wants to know I am using an FX-8350 Piledriver and EVGA GTX 760 2GB)
