  2. Hi, I had the same problem in 2013 and that was the answer on my mail: "Your license key has been reset. It had reached it's activation limit. License deactivation can happen for a few reasons. Changes in I.P. address. Common Causes: Modem/Router restart. -- Leave it on 24/7 whenever possible. It will never affect your electric bill. Maintenance and/or hardware changes at your internet service provider. A temporary break in the interent routing from your machine to our servers can cause this sometimes also but not very common. This is completely beyond our control. Running Active Sky on multiple systems. -- Self explanatory. 1 license per machine. Re-installation of Active Sky software. Change in machine code. Common Causes: Machine code changes can occur simply by unplugging a USB device or external drive, Ipad or Iphone or similar device connected to the machine at one point during your session. Example being if you have a mobile phone connected to your system and you happen to fire up Active Sky and then the next time you use Active Sky and say the phone isn't connected, you hardware machine code will change. This is not the same as a MAC address. Another cause is SSD drives. Being that there are so many new ones flooding the market, the way they initialize can be an issue also. There is no way we can know how all of them are configured, or if firmware revisions are occurring from one lot to the next during manufacturing, so when problems do arise, we can try to fix the issue specific to that particular hardware with a future patch or update. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with. Thank you! HiFi Support" Regards, Erwin
