  1. yeah I did recall that the ngx Once suffered from a similar problem but how could the navdata be affected? perhaps its time to switch to the MD11 for the time being
  2. umm I think you have mistaken my case My false terrain alarm sounds during landing
  3. done, should be working yep it is, I would also like to mention that the terrain alarm does shut up at about 20ft but its really annoying and yes I made a full FMC flightplan I shall put up a screenshot later
  4. I really would like to know how one signs a post is there a button that can do this for ur every post without you writing urself
  5. what? But I already wrote my name at the end of every of my posts on this topic Kingson Chu
  6. it kept warning terrain terrain pull up NOT too low terrain and NEVER too low gear OR too low flaps yes I did programme the FMC correctly, including the VREF Kingson Chu
  7. yes but I am landing in full landing configuration as mentioned above It is also happening at every airport I think the plane is not recognizing the aircraft is in landing config
  8. oh, I meant that the way a T7 should be configured into to land btw is there a reasom why I should sign my post?
  9. I would like to ask what is the landing config for a T7?
  10. yeah, but why the warning triggered? yeah, but why the warning triggered? yeah but then why it sounded?
  11. Well it did happen to me and I am just desperate to find a solution to fix a little flaw in an otherwise perfect aircraft. P.S. Did you use the PMDG 777?
  12. I was landing at LHR with the 777-300ER the other day, and when I was locked and coming down the glideslope, at about 1000ft, the terrain alarm screamed all the way until I touched down on 27R, despite I was in full landing configuration (flaps 30, gear down, autobrakes 1) scenery : UK2000 London extreme I would be grateful for a reply.
  13. So I was flying the MD11 again and when the plane took off, instead of following the altitudes in the FMC, the plane just tried to roar to my cruising altitude. The plane eventually stalled. Can anyone explain how to get VNAV working properly?? I have also seen tutorials on youtube where the pilos actaully have to manually change the altitude through the altitude selection bar, is that true?? I have also seen tutorials on youtube where the pilos actaully have to manually change the altitude through the altitude selection bar, is that true??
  14. thanks for your reply Moreover, I would like to ask if I should insert my cruising altitude in the altitude selection bar??
  15. So I was flying the MD11 from Princess Juliana to Schipol and everything worked fine on the FMC. The plane also took off with no issues, and LNAV engaged. However, VNAV (prof) never did but the throttles are moving themselves and the PFD showed prof armed. Despite this, I can still control them manually. I would be grateful I someone could provide a solution. It seems that the queen is much more easier to fly lol.
  16. So I was flying the 737 from Schipol to St.Maaeten but for some reason the VNAV never engaged despite the fact that I have entered all required information. I would be grateful if anyone can provide assistance.
  17. Thanks for your detailed response. Moreover, I would like to ask that recently I have discovered in pure autopilot mode (no LNAV VNAV that stuff) the healding selector is a bit off course. For example, when I select 073 in the heading selector and press select, the plane always goes a bit off and remains at 075 for planes with PW engines and 074 for GE engines. I would be grateful if someone can explain and provide a solution as I have already installed the whole plane once and the problem is still there.
  18. So I was flying the queen one day with the FMC and after a bit of time after takeoff, I activated LNAV and VNAV but then I discovered that I was not climbing over FL100 (way off my cruising altitude of FL290) but my speed did increase as programmed. I then discovered that my altitude knob was set at 10000 feet. Upon discovering that, I changed the altitude knob to 29000 but the altitude did not change. I was baffled so I fiddled with the buttons and pressed FLCH. The plane then pitched up violently (more than 20 degrees pitch) and it climbed to the cruising altitude in my FMC. I would be most grateful if anyone explain to me this weird behaviour and the solution to this.
