Hello,
I just recently purchased CH Rudder pedals. I already own the CH flightstick. OS is Win 7 64 bit/P3d 2.4 with lots of bells and whistle add-ons on a 3 month old fast PC. I typically fly Aerosoft A319/320/321 series.
After plugging CH pedals in yesterday all seemed well. The flight controls showed full range of motion visually and on the MFD. I taxiied a bit gleefully and did one x-wind takeoff from KPHP, but I needed to add power to get the aircraft rolling but I figured p3D loaded a full fuel A320 so its to be expected.
Those who sim the Aerosoft series know that it typically starts rolling once you release the parking brake. Last night I did a 2nd departure from P3D default KSJC that required a lot of power to get to the runway (with a lightly loaded A320 for a 1.4 flight). I didn't think much of it at the time.
This morning I Ioaded P3D and after pushback from FSDT KIAH I literally could not move the aircraft with TOGA selected. I never left the alleyway. It was sufficiently demoralizing. I took my feet off the pedals suspecting maybe toebrake sensitivity was the issue (it wasnt), turned off max autobrake thinking maybe somehow its engaged and wont let me move (no help). I fiddled with the P3d calibrate pedals tool; which was nothing but fiddling. I went into Aerosoft menu and turned tiller on/off, FBW on/off. Loaded up the CH Control Manager and had no clue what was happening. Nada.
Any suggestions? I'm a FS veteran and former RW corporate pilot/CFII but not too saavy on the config/hardware side.
What am I missing or doing wrong? Anyone seen this before or have a canned [constructive] answer?
