alhefner's post in Question about "windowed mode" and two monitors. was marked as the answerBoy, was I ever way off the mark concerning FSX and multiple monitors! You can run FSX on multiple monitors in full screen mode but....
If you have the screen resolution in FSX set to the size of your main monitor, it will show up there and black out the other monitor(s). However, you can then slide any instrument panels you open onto the other monitor(s). It makes running addon programs like Active Sky Next or FSCommander difficult though...it can be done but not in a way I like.
In windowed mode and the window expaneded to the full size of your main monitor, you still get your full cockpit view AND you get the full use of your other monitor(s) much more easily. You can still undock panels and slide them over as you wish but you can also have your addon(s) visible to use.
I have a short demo video on youtube now.

alhefner's post in Looking for combined ATC/Traffic program for General Aviation was marked as the answerProatc is an IFR only ATC addon...it won't even load a VFR flight plan. Radar Contact will load a VFR flight plan but then treats it just like and IFR flight so, that casual sight seeing trip is out the window.
Voxatc is voice only but is good with VFR flight unlike the two mentioned above. It takes some time to set up so that the program will understand you. It comes with a program that it calls "Flight Plan Training". One might see that and think it is to train you on how to use flight plans. Nope, it's for you to use to train Voxatc on how to interpret your voice. First you go through the basic training and then, if you still have some problems, go through it for a specific flight plan.
I too would love a good ATC program, much like Radar Contact, that would really allow for VFR flight...unlike Radar Contact or Proatc.
