For the missing menu option for PMDG I search on the internet and see in my DLL.XML. only this for PMDG: <Name>PMDG HUD interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> Do I miss some lines? I use version V1.12 SP1C and it worked always perfect...except now :(

Hi Pilots, Since the re-install of the PMDG NGX 737-800 I have a problem with the panels. The strange thing is that the default PMDG NGX is working fine, but with other liveries there is a problem. I use 2D panels (checked in the settings instead of 3D), because I use FS2Crew and EZDOK as well. I install the new liveries with the 'Livery Manager'. Only with the default NGX livery I can use the new cockpit layout, but with all the others I still get the 'old' one. Does someone know what the problem could be? Cheers, Ryan

Thanks for the advise! I re-installed everything and it work again...apart from the cockpit of the NGX 737-800. It looks like the old one and not the NGX cockpit.

What has an Mega airport install to do with the main panel of the plane? Search on the net, but haven't found the solution yet. Ryan

Yes, many airports and ORBX Ultimate series. After the installation I reinstalled the Library of FS Global.

Hi all, When I load the plane (PMDG 737-800 NGX) and fill in the route in the FMC, there are no waypoint shown. The route is shown, but no names of waypoint, sids or stars. Also the engine display is empty, no figures at all at all gauges. Does anyone have a clue what the problem could be? Cheers, Ryan

Thank you all for the reply's! I read here that all Mesh have to go to the top of the scenery, so after the LIBS, Base, OPENLC and Vector. Only have 1 airport add-on installed at the moment, just to check if it is working. Will set the airport to the top and see what the difference will be. Update will follow. The problem with the grass is solved after the fresh install, but the scenery overal doesn't look right to me. That's why I doubt about the scenery order. There are so many advice and all looks different (depends on the add-ons), so i'm just checking. Thanks all!

After installing some add-ons, I still think there are some things not in the right order in the scenery. Please advise what to change! Several unfortunately. I uninstalled all add-ons and re-installed it and now it's working fine (with the FSGX 2010). Now try to install the other add-ons also, one by one.

Thanks for all your answers and support! Will try UTX also and see what for me the best add-on is to use. Will try to figure it all out and will keep you informed about the progress. First I need to set the library is correct order to have the best results. I uninstalled everything from UTX, but still have the grass on the gate and runways, so something is still wrong here.

That is correct, FS Global 2010 is mesh. Never experienced how the add-ons worked 100%, because I don't know in which order I need to set in the library. So you use FTX Global Base, no Vector or openLC? May I ask which products from UTX (Flight1) you are using?

Thanks for your reply Mithras! In the FTX Global User Guide stated that UTX is fully compatible with UTX. GEX is not compatible at all, so won't install that. So basically I need to install everything from FTX and can I install FS Global 2010 + Ultimate to cover the whole world, mesh, water, landclass etc.? And in the library first FTX and then FS Global 2010 - Ultimate? Cheers

Hi all, I've been using some different add-ons for FSX and have some difficulties with the correct order in the scenery library. The add-ons I use are: - ORBX (Global Base, Vector and Open LC) + regions Europe, North America, Australia + Oceania - UTX (Europe + USA) - FS Global 2010 - FS Global Ultimate Europe, Africa, The Americas and Global Oceania - GEX 2 The order is now (FS Global and GEX2 not installed yet): UTX Europe UTX USA FTX Australia FTX New Zealand FTX North America ORBX!OPENLC_Europe (1-10) ORBX!OPENLC_NAMERICA1 ORBX!OPENLC_BASE ORBX!VECTOR_OBJ ORBX!VECTOR_APT ORBX!VECTOR_CVX ORBX!VECTOR_EXX All the standard files (Addon Scenery, Propeller objects, ...) 1107 - 0000 Base ORBX!_VECTOR_AEC Default Scenery When I start at the gate, all the runways, gates and taxiways are all in the grass. Also the environment (buildings, trees, roads, mountains and water) looks very poor. Can somebody advise me in which order the add-ons have to be set in the library? What I expect from the total upgrade is more FPS on FSX and other (furure) games. Also more performance when 4K gaming is coming in. As a test I put every setting in FSX on max and the FPS are now at 7 max, so that's unplayable. The I7 has HT and the standard clock speed is higher, but with overclocking of the I5 4690K 4GHZ should be no problem, although the clock speed of the I7 would be always higher, but is this noticeable in games? Do some videoconverting/editing, but it is only for home using, so no high performance apps for this.The main task is games, but I don't want to regret and have the feeling that I didn't get everything out of the system for buying the I5 and not the I7. Think €125,- difference is a lot of money for the CPU, so the speed difference has to be noticeable, otherwise it make no sence to buy the I7. Can spend the money I 'save' with the CPU on a high performance GPU instead. So it is: I7 4790K + GTX 970 or I5 4690K + GTX 980 (this is € 250 more expensive) What will be the best option? ps. What about the new Broadwell CPU'S? Is it smart to wait for those or will it make no difference?

I already have a SSD for FSX, but it's 1 SSD with 2 partitions (Windows C: and FSX D:) Have seen some benchmarks between the I5 and I7 and there are (at maximum) 5 fps difference between the two in games. Not sure how it will be with FSX though..

What would be the difference between the I5 4690K and the I7 4790K? The difference is price is here about € 125, but is the difference in performance worth the money?

Thanks for the suggestions Allesandro v81! I definately have a look over there, because the prices here are total insane. Found the ASRock Z97 Extreme6 motherboard. Is this a good choice for the I7 4790K with 8 or 16GB Vengeance RAM and Nvidia GTX 970? Or is the ASUS Z97-Pro (Wi-Fi AC) a better choice? Sorry for the questions, but if I spend such amount of money I want to be sure.

What is the fps difference with the change of the CPU, but with the same GPU? Have searched for some motherboards and found some, but which one gives the best performance? Asus Z97-Pro (Wi-Fi AC) GigaByte Z97X-SOC Force GigaByte Z97X-UD5H MSI Z97 Gaming 5 or 7

Thanks all for the reply and advice! No wonder that the fps is not getting above the 17 fps, if I compare the hardware above with my current system. All the add-ons are also heavy for the system, so need to replace it all. Try to overclock some more, so maybe this has some results. Ryanbatcund, your advice is a GTX 970, but what difference does it make between NVIDIA and AMD? Was thinking to take 16GB RAM or is this overkill?

Good day pilots, A few months ago I started playing FSX, but have the problem that my fps are not as high as they are recommending (around 30). My fps range from 7 to 15 and try to tweak, but without great results. Still the fps are around 10 to 17. The following add-ons are installed: FTX Central REX Essential Plus Overdrive REX 4 GEX UTX PMDG + other add-on aircrafts NL2000 FSPassengers FSUIPC EZDOK Is my hardware still good enough or do I have to replace it all? My system: Intel Q9450 (overclocked 3 GHz) ATI 5870 (Core 1GHZ, Memory 1.2 GHZ) OCZ Reaper X 4GB (2x2) Crucial 512GB SSD ASUS P5E Thanks for the advice in advance!
