  1. I updated my P3D to 4.5, to the latest revision. After I loaded the program, with no issues, I noticed that my wireless keyboard, or normal keyboard, seems to have changed its own keystrokes or lost a lot of its functionality altogether. Also the throttle settings from my FDS TQ, using FSUIPC5, that has calibrated OK, have a minimum idle setting of 52%, although the throttle is wanting, from the engine screen, to take it back to the normal idle. Whilst the program is running, if I go into windows, and look at any files, if you click on a file in a folder, it highlights everything above it, and will if you click on it, it opens or activate every file above the one you selected. When I come out of the program, the keyboard starts acting normally again. Everything worked well under P3Dv4.4. Only hardware changes are the upgrade of my graphics card to a Geoforce RTX 2070ti. I have uploaded the latest drivers for this. I've never had a problem like this before, and cant seem to see any other posts that reflect whats happening, so looking for some suggestions on where to go with this. Many thanks for all your help Don
  2. Vernon, By in large the whole kit for me is just great. So far I have just the Captains's side, but kitted with all opencockpits products. My reasoning was that if I stayed with the same manufacturer, with mostly P&P equipment I couldn't go too wrong, and apart from the issue I'm having now, with the joystick control axes everything is OK. Incidental the throttle part of the Saitek works OK, along with the buttons that have been assigned, its just the main control surfaces are giving me the issue when I press the C/O button on the MCP. I've spoken with Roar at OCP4U and he assures me its not anything coming from his program and suggested I have a good look at the FSUIPC interface, which I have done diligently, setting everything up, and again all OK until the big button press on the MCP. I'm hoping someone has had a similar issue and perhaps a solution. Thanks for responding Don
  3. I'm having a control issue when using the 737NGX, along with the Opencockpits MCP, OCP4NGX and the Saitek Pro USB Joystick. I use the FPUIPC along with tthe Saitek Pro Joystick for the main controls , FS is disabled, and the OCP4NGX program to handle the interface between the Opencockpits P&P modules I have installed, i.e. EFIS< FMC and MCP, along with the MIP Expansion cards. Everything work fine, loads OK, right up until I press the C/O button on the MCP, which you are asked to do to get everything lined up. The interfaces work fine, from the MCP perspective, but the only bad thing that happens is that all of a sudden the previous OK movement of the Joystick in all axes, has made the movement of the joystick operate now over a very small range, in all axes, which isn't very conducive for a safe flight. I've tried in the condition to change the values using FSUIPC, but with no change, so I'm frankly at a loss of what to do, and programming just isn't my best discipline, so any suggestions would be helpful Regards Don
  4. I've not long downloaded the PDMG 737NGX that I'm hoping to use on my homebuilt rig, The issue I have is that the speed doesn't seem to want to go above about 190 knots despite the engines showing more or less full power. All the other aircraft work OK. Vertical speed will barely get to 400fpm in flight change mode. Did 't have this problem when I first bought and installed it, so I've probably done something stupid. Add-on's are Rex and Active Sky, but that's about it. The computer is brand new, Windows 8.1, FSX, with SP2 installed and the latest FSUIPC installed. High end Intel CPU and dual graphics cards, with loads of memory, so may just be a configuration issue. I'm also getting frequent FSX program aborts, before and during flight, all very frustrating. Any help would be most appreciated. Regards Don
