For some reason lately my PMDG 737's and 777 aircraft show up in the selection menus, but when I select the airport to place them at the plane doesn't show up. There are engine sounds but no panels and the aircraft from outside view just doesn't appear. I can load a smaller plane such as the Cessna 172 or Beach Baron 58 and they do load OK. I have heard the last Windows10 update caused some bad things taking place. Any suggestions on how to correct this. Thanks.....

I've been using the Saitek Pro Flight System with FSX for 2 years. Now all of a sudden FSX won't recognize the yoke at all. The rudder pedals work OK. I have contacted Logitech and have got no help. I've been trying for a month now and no luck. I have a support ticket in progress, but get no help. Logitech tells me it is a Saitek problem and supposedly have forwarded it to them with no avail. I am at my wits end. I decided that maybe my yoke had just died. I ordered a new yoke system and have installed the software etc. but the same thing is happening. FSX just will not recognize the yoke system. Anyone know where I can go and get some help. In device manager it is shown as an unknown device. I have tried to reinstall drivers but windows 10 can't install drivers for the system. What is going on? I thought this system was supposed to be plug and play. I have downloaded the panel v1.1 mods by Ray Marshall for the Carenado CJ2. I am confused with the instructions on how to install the mods. Number 2 instruction says to unpack the CAB files into a folder with same name showing folder name as AUTOPILOT_CJ2525A. It shows the same folder AUTOPILOT_CJ2525A for the CARPROLINE_CJ2525A.cab and the GAUGECJ525A.cab also. I thought that there should be 3 folders for the files to put in the Panel folder with the same 3 names as original cab files. If that is the case why couldn't I just copy the original CAB files into the Panel folder and then unpack the new mod v1.1 cab files to the 3 original cab files in the Panel folder overwriting what is there? Just need some clarification on how to proceed. Sure looks like a great mod. Thanks for any help.... Mel Stephenson

Sorry for all the dumb questions. I sure appreciate all your replies. I have finally figured out how to change the course and heading bugs. I have to hold down the left mouse button and use the scroll wheel to change the bugs. I will keep working on it and I will find what works....Thanks to you all for your replies..... Mel

I do not have the GTN mod, just the default aircraft. I just can't get the gauges to work as they should. Should I be at another thread for help on this? Sure appreciate any help on my problems...Thanks... Mel

Great video vonmar. My gauges just don't work right. I can't change the heading or the course. I still can't change the PFD menus like you should be able to. I guess I will uninstall and reinstall and see if that makes any difference....

Well I thought yesterday I had the PFD and the Nav radios figured out. But today I can't get the NAV Source menus to change on either the side of the PFD. The Menu Adv knob won't change anything. I suppose there is some switch I am missing somewhere. I have to click on the NAV/BRG switch on the DCP to get the menus to show up but I can't change the items in the menus. I have the NAV radio tuned to the VOR freq and the ILS freg set for the approach but I can't get the NAV1 source set on the menus. Don't know why this is so complicated. I guess I need a dummy book to figure it out....Sorry for all my problems, but I really like the plane and would like to fly it....Thanks.....

Well the AP Approach works very great. Now I can't seem to get the ADF set. The knobs to set the freq are labeled 10's and 1's. When I use the 10's knob it changes the 100's. When I use the 1's knob it changes the decimal portion. I can't seem to get the 10's or the 1's to change. What am I missing here. Maybe I will learn with all your good help...Thanks...

OK, thanks so much for the info. I will keep working on it and see if I can get things to work. It is just a matter of finding the right knob to turn etc....Have a good one....

When I click on the Preset button I get only two choices. One is FMS the other is VOR2. The pfd Proline21 file says to rotate the menu advance knob, but nothing changes. I suppose I need the NAV1 freq set for the approach. What am I missing? Back to the course knob, also I can't get the heading pointer to change either. I hope I am not sounding to dumb, but I guess I am....

OK thanks Jim & Michael. I don't have the GTN so right now I will get by with the Proline. Great plane. I did get the menu to change, Jim. I am still having trouble getting the Course knob to work smoothly like I think it should. It seems to change in big increments. Hard to get the course set right. I can't seem to get the Approach on the AP to work. I have to land without it's help. Thanks again you have been a great help.

I just purchased the CJ2 525A and it has the Proline 21 in it. What is the GTN that I am reading about? I hope this is not a silly question but I am confused. Do I need the NON GTN mod or the GTN mod? Is the Proline 21 a different FMC than the GTN? I love the FMC. I am having trouble with the Format switch on the PFD and the MFD. When I press it I get a menu but I can't figure out how to navigate through the menu. I need a how to on using the different switches in the VC. The Proline 21 pdf file is not real helpful. Also I can't get the Course knob to change pointer on the PFD. Thanks...
