  1. So I have got caught up in the ixeg 737 hype and finally bought xplane and a few addons. I have spent the last couple of days installing everything and doing some tweaking. The only part I have had issues with is installing w2xpl. Appreciate it is not officially supported or developed anymore (which is a massive shame) but with it in my scenery folder I can't load beyond reading new scenery files. I have osm with v3 mesh and that is working fine. Any ideas of a solution to the w2xpl issue so I can use that? Thanks
  2. Nope its the one Orbx product I have stayed away from after reading the issues with it. When monitoring I have noticed that I am still using the same VAS as I was previously but the VAS limit seems to have reduced to 3.6/7gb rather than 4gb.
  3. I have been mightly impressed with p3d v3 and 3.1 thus far. I have been running both since the launch of v3 and not had any issues at all, simming has been about flying not tweaking, which has been great. Unfortunately very recently OOM's have started appearing. Now I thought this may have been because I was starting to push things too far, but I haven't made any significant changes in my scenery or graphics settings recently. Anyway I decide to monitor my vram usage and for some reason the errors are happening when I still haave 400-500mb in vas left. So it is not my vas usage that has increased but for some weird reason I don't appear to have as much to use. The sim mdoesn't do its usual bing bong noise either, presumably beecause I am not actually near the 4gb limit. Any ideas as to what may have caused this sudden change and any ideas on a fix? Thanks
  4. I know this is probably post number 6590443 on VAS issues but no matter what I do with my Sim or the 777 I can't get to the state of being able to fly the plane from one payware airport to another in longer haul flights. I have tried everything, lowered settings etc but always have to either reload the flight two or three times or get an OOM. My Autogen settings are all sparse and detail is on normal. I have 1024 textures and compressed all of my payware scenery. I can fly the PMDG 737 over reasonable distances without the same issues, it seems that the 777 constantly uses more VAS as the flight goes on. (My VAS with the 737 stays fairly constant from departure to arrival). I have also followed guides to remove RAAS and other stuff. Is there anything obvious I am missing, the constant high VAS usage doesn't seem right? (For ground textures I have FTX global/Open LC Europe and Rex 4+soft Clouds/ASN for sky stuff) Thanks Matthew
