  1. I'm trying to install my 2nd Saitek panel but am having no joy. I already have a Radio Panel installed via LINDA (thanks to your help) and that's working fine. However, LINDA can't seem to recognize my new Multi Panel. I've amended the Modules\linda-cfg\aircrafts\FSX Default\config-hid.lua file to add the Multi Panel info contained in the config-hid-saitek.lua file. When I start up LINDA, the Multi Panel is shown as a Joystick, but pushing any of the panel's buttons does not do anything. The panel is also invisible to FSX. Saitek's drivers are NOT installed. I'm sure I'm doing someting (or not doing something) to cause this but can't figure it out. Have I modified the wrong file? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. During the Reddit Q&A of yesterday, Steve Hood stated, "DTG Flight Simulator will not support FSUIPC. Instead, we will be looking to supply our own range of multiplayer options..." What, exactly, does that mean? I didn't even know FSUIPC had anything to do with multiplayer, per se. As I'm familiar with it, FSUIPC is a hardware/software interface tool. Is it DTG's intent, then, to provide a similar tool at the time of the software's launch. Or, perhaps a better question is, what sort of toolkit/SDK will be available at launch?
  3. I'm now using Linda to "drive" my Saitek Radio Panel (the original Saitek driver has been removed). The XPDR switch position now allows both the transponder and the altimeter barometric pressure to be set. It seems, however, that the barometric pressure can only be input in millibars (vs inches of Hg). The .lua file seems to have code to allow for both millibars and inches of Hg. How can I change over to the Hg input? Thanks.
  4. I know this should be simple, but it's not (at least for me). What I have: I've built a new machine with a GeForce GTX 970 video card driving 2 Asus V278 27" monitors in their default 1920x1080 resolution. What I want: to have FSX span across both monitors. I want to see more instrument panel/scenery, not just a bigger view of what was on 1 screen. Oh, and I want a Virtual Cockpit. What I get: When I run FSX, it shows up on the default (left) screen. The secondary screen (on the right) changes its background to black and resets the screen resolution to what looks like 640x480. FSX's resolution (set at 1920x1080) dosen't change. Anything I mange to put on that display (radio stack/gps/etc) has that very low resolution. Right-clicking the mouse on that display to try to change the screen resolution does nothing. There is no response. I've tried setting up the Surround feature of the video card via NVidia Control Panel. While it sets it up fine, FSX still uses the single display (only on the right screen). I've checked the forums. I can't find anything that seems to get to where I want to go. I don't want to stretch the FSX window from a single display to the second - if I do that all I end up with is a crazy big stretched out, distorted view of what was originally on 1 screen. I'm looking for an expanded view of cockpit/scenery in a virtual cockpit. Is this even possible?
