  1. Ha! I’ve been wrestling FSX for over a decade. Nothing scares me! 😂

  3. Those are exactly what I want. I’m very comfortable editing files. thanks!!
  4. Thanks, Mike! I’ll monkey around with that file. Much appreciated!
  5. Interesting. I want to hide the window frames and instrument panel, keep the glass and plane exterior. Basically the surface of the monitor is the surface of the cockpit windows, if that makes any sense.
  6. Here is my cockpit with FSX loaded. I'm migrating to Xplane 12. https://ibb.co/S7xLs5P
  7. I have 3 for the front view on a triplehead2go, and 1 on each door. So, 5 total, but 3 views. I'd share an image of my cockpit, but I don't know how to do that.
  8. I'm strictly GA Aircraft, So I want to see the nose, prop, wings, and wing pilons (on a Cessna), glass effects like rain would be awesome.
  9. I’m specifically looking for the setting that hides the interior of the cockpit, but shows the plane outside the windows.
  10. I’m on windows. Can you kindly share what the specific setting is? thanks!
  11. Exactly! Which option is that? Is it set on the Graphics/Monitors page? Or something else? thanks!
  12. Hello, I'm VERY new to XPlane, switching from being an FSX user for many years. I have a home cockpit with full instrument panel. I want to turn off the interior of the plane, but maintain the exterior, from the glass of the windows to everything outside, including nose, propeller, wings, pylons, etc. Can someone point me to a thread that covers this, or give me some guidance? Thanks! Dave
  13. thanks, Rich. This discusses the yoke's actual travel distance, but not how close the yoke gets to the panel when fully forward. I want to place my yoke correctly in relation to my instruments.
  14. Hello! Can anyone tell me what the distance is from the back of a Cessna's yoke to the instrument panel, when the yoke is at its closest? I'm having a hard time finding this info. thanks! Dave
