Hello i am planning to get new laptop. Can someone please explain why older cpu has CPU boost up to 5ghz but the new 11th gen has only 4.6. I thought to run P3D best, you need great single core performance and best clock speed. But 11th gen intel cpus are Lower in clock speeds but faster in performance compared to 10th gen CPU’s. I switched from Ezdok v3 to Chaseplane and absolutely love it. Two Questions: 1. Ezdok had a motion effect where if the spoilers, gear or flaps are extended, then the VC camera shakes. I do not see that option in Chaseplane.I miss it. 2. Does chaseplane take away FPS. There were numerious people reporting that it does but that was a few years ago. I have the latest chaseplane version and wanted to find out if that has been fixed. Thank you Nikita

This plane is by far the worst regarding the fps. PMDG, QW, Aerosoft, FSLabs are all substantially better fps wise. Either its poorly optimized or something is wrong here. Is there a way to remove cabin maybe. That could be taking a lot of performance away,

I could not find the answer in the manuals, how come the EFB send output is unavailable when finished Take off Calculations. Qualitinwgs you can send FMC V speeds straight to FMS. Thanks

How much did you spend on your rig? if its not a secret. I spent $2600 for my laptop. So not cheap, but if i buy a desktop around that price, will it be powerful enough you think?

Thanks for the Help Brother! So basically it comes down to buying Desktop to play FSX. Since its more powerful than even when compared to high end gaming laptops.

Well.............word not allowed lol. Brand new Laptop that is pretty expensive still cannot handle FSX but can handle brand new PC games like nothing everything Maxed Out. Maybe switching to p3dv4 will have a difference?

So in this case having a better CPU is what makes a difference, and not GPU? 6700K is better than 7700HQ?

How do you get silky smooth performance. What are your settings? Please share

No its just I though having pretty good laptop can handle the FSX;SE Or is it because the engine is just too old and cannot fully utilize the new GPU and CPU

I own FSX:SE I have PMDG 74v3,777,737ngx, and other add on planes and sceneries. 747 for me is by far the most heavy on performance. I have MSI GE72MVR laptop with Windows 10 64 bit, Nvidia 1070, 16GB RAM, Intel I7700HQ, 1TB +256SD. FSX is installed onto the hard rive. I have micro stutters every time I fly the plane. But in General, does FSX: SE runs poor and lags even on high end rigs? IS it that time to switch to P3D? My settings are not even set to Ultra. Scenery and weather are set to medium. Thank you

When I open the Operations center and choose 737NGX for FSX SE and see what was changed in changelog it just shows: Page unavailable. All other planes 747v3 and 777 Work fine. I was wondering what was changed recently for the 737 during the update that you guys rolled all out for all the planes.

Yeah sadly( You would with such large community someone would just build a new Sim with new engine that can handle utilize your Computer to the max. X-plane 11 is getting there but I think its too different an it will take time to switch over to that platform, even though there are some great payware planes for that one.

Ah now i get it! I guess does not matter how good your pc/laptop is, it will never be good enough to make FSX be silky smooth maxed out with add-ons.

Does that include add ons like PMDG planes and sceneries? I have seen many youtube videos For either FSX and P3D and it looks like they have everything maxed out with crazy weather settings flying PMDG 777 out of aerosoft crazy FPS airports and they are fluid smooth frames and they have worse rig than many? How is that possible I do not understand.

Is Prepar3dV4 much better than FSX SE in terms of illuminating stutters and lag on modern day Rig? Because its expensive and to buy PMDG add ons is so much more expensive than for FSX SE

I have MSI laptop with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, turbo boosted to 3.4 GHz, Nvidia GTX 1070, 16GB RAM .FSX SE Windows 10 I did not weak it and and reduced my overall quality to medium. I have Nicks Invidia inspector settings except I do not usde FPS limiter and have turned off VSync. My frames are set to unlimited. How come on a good spec laptop that can run all games on ultra, FSX it runs very "medium". I have PMDG 737/747v3/ 777 and Aerosoft 321. Aerosoft run excellent. Followed by 777 than 747 and then 737ngx. I have this awful micro stutter before ATC Sounds are playing and occasional microcomputer while on the ground and in the air. When my specs this should not be!! Is it worth switching to P3D v4 since it utilizes the high CPU and GPU specs? I am not even using super fps intensiveness add ons. Thank you

Exaclty the same thing. AND I have Exactly the same Nvdia HD Audio driver and Realtek HD Audio Driver on board. Did you fix the problem by any chance? I tried disabling the Nvidia audio driver but same thing happens. I dont think its the confilct. If you have VLC player installed, try deleteing it.

I am using on board Realtek HD Audio driver and it is up to date.

I have MSI ntel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, turbo boosted to 3.4 GHz, Nvidia 1070, 16GB RAM .FSX SE When flying planes like PMDG 777/747v3, Aerosoft, etc. I get micro stutters when ATC callouts are playing and when callous/ touchdown sounds are playing as well as some button and switches sounds. Its all random and happens randomly throughout the flight. It was not like that in the beginning when I installed FSX and the payware add-ons. I guess something must have happened. I use Nicks Nvidia profile inspector settings with V sync Off. Unlimited frames set. Please Help Thank you
