tried that... not working..... speak "clearance jetblue 1 9 0 ready for atc" .... it shows up on the screen in closed caption,...... no response from radio....... it is set to clearance delivery frequency...... pf3 set to no voice.......PTT pause interval 20.......use closed caption mode on..... only item unchecked at the moment is ..use PM MCP but it dosent make a difference if i check or uncheck this. i hve been using that and i havent been able to "talk" to atc. They dont respond. After going a couple of emails with support i was told that i cant talk to pf3 only native atc and that i had to have copilot do the atc contact. When i key the mike and speak it shows what i said in the upper corner of the screen but atc never responded. works with copilot, but i rather do it myself. emails with MCE support Emails read; Hi Adam. Please ignore that notification. It was initially devised for the native ATC. It's not updated with PF3 You aren't expected to monitor it. What matters is the ability for Fo to see those PF3 captions, so he can see which altitude, squak, heading or speed is assigned and react accordingly.
