  1. Anyways, thanks Dave, good that you found that glitch!
  2. Slightly better but far from optimal as that will introduce a huge loop to a short route. It maybe best then for me to just uncheck the STAR option in P2A, as none of the STARs make any sense when arriving from NORTH. (Could the reason be that in real life, KORF doesn't get jetplane arrivals from the north, that's why there are no STARs for north arrivals?) https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv77dfsa1e8g543/Capture.PNG?dl=0
  3. Well, I was then just unlucky to stumble to the remaining 5%. I also expected vectors, no such luck. You may want to check your code for that - I would think it's safe to assume the ATC will give vectors, if the amount of turn required at a certain point in the plan is way over 90 degrees, as was in my case yesterday (at two points, specifically).
  4. Yes but how can I do the planning beforehand - for most big airports, different STARs are for different runway arrivals, and the arrival runway is not known beforehand. I've had numerous occasions where P2A has changed the arrival runway from my plan, during the flight.
  5. Moreover, how about the STARs/approaches, which clearly would require a procedure turn - this time twice!
  6. I think this was a bit of an overkill: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv77dfsa1e8g543/Capture.PNG?dl=0 I would've liked to fly direct from CCV to OMRIE, ie. bypassing the DRONE2 STAR at KORF completely, effectively flying to CCV and then a straight-in RNAV approach to RW23. Is this possible while-flying, without unchecking the "ATC assigns STARs" from the config?
  7. I don't think this is possible, see this discussion: But you can for example use Little Navmap and export the SIDs and STARs as datapoints and import that plan into the GTN750. Personally, I won't use any planes with the 750 just because of that old navdata.
  8. And can the refiling be done while flying the route?
  9. Yes I do remember my flight plan was a bit screwed up, there was the double-back to YWG. Fixed that in my plane, but probably forgot to fix it in P2A! So, if I make changes to my flight plan in the plane, then do the same in P2A and refile, right?
  10. "Ready for taxi" -> ground freq -> tower freq -> ground freq etc. Not getting off this loop. Annoying. KORD.
  11. Actually, this is not so much a bug as an improvement proposal: would it be possible to add a feature where you could "restart" the ATC from a certain state of your flight - ie. pre-taxi - taxi out - departure - climb - cruise - descent - approach - taxi in? The reason I'm asking is I am from Finland and, while pretty fluent in English, sometimes P2A interprets my request wrong. Like two days ago - I landed on KORD and requested "request taxi to the gate". On my third attempt, P2A finally "recognized" my request - and started to give me the taxi out instructions to the active runway, although all I requested were the taxi-in instructions to the available gate! There are numerous situations where P2A doesn't understand me. Now I know part of this is my fault. It would just be very helpful if I could "reinstate" the ATC to the flight phase I'm actually having, instead of ending the whole program and flying without ATC.
  12. Flying from CYWG to KLDH, P2A was acting really weird and ended up in a fatal error loop. First it was trying to vector me off course while climbing, although I has right on course, also P2A showed me that! Then, after reaching the cruise altitude, FL250, GS270 and some 300 nm to go, it suddenly starter to spam me with "unable to calculade TOD" error messages. They kept on coming, and I couldn't do anything else but kill P2A from task manager. Could not take any screenshots because the behaviour was so bad - every new error message window took the window focus out from anything else.
  13. If I have understood correctly, the AIRAC cycle gives all the necessary background data for the FMC: fixes, airways, arrivals, approaches etc. So that should be enough, no charts needed. Sry I can't be of help - maybe Dave has something to say here.
  14. Sry, last was a wrong link. This is the right one I hope. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv77dfsa1e8g543/Capture.PNG?dl=0
