  1. Brian (my MCE coordinator) won't allow me to board while refueling. Any chance there is a mce.ini entry I can make to bypass that? In the US it is normal to board and fuel at the same time. Thanks!
  2. Mike, Thanks again for the help. It turned out not to be any of the above (Though I am thankful that you pointed me to CCleaner... haven't used that program in years, but just downloaded it and it definitely found stuff). I was getting mixed results on running P3D after starting up my computer. I finally narrowed it down to Microsoft Defender in the system tray. As soon as I exited from that (I couldn't find a way to put exceptions in Microsoft Defender) it works like a champ. It was definitely something to do with the fsinsider64.dll file because I could run P3D fine if I renamed it. Bottom Line... I uninstalled "Microsoft Defender" from my system. Note this is not "Windows Defender" but a paid product offered by Microsoft. See here... https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/3935531/why-do-i-have-2-windows-defender-running-is-this-l Thanks again for the help! Matt
  3. I figured it out. I was working with Ben on updating one of the aircraft in FSX and I put an FSX aircraft .dll in the P3D "MCE dlls" folder thinking it would work. This does not work! The FSX .dlls are 32 bit and the P3D ones are 64 bit. As soon as I removed it, P3D fired up without any issue. Matt
  4. Mike, Thanks for the reply. The license.key file is located in the MCE folder as you stated, but there is no specific folder in FSX with a license in it in my installation. I think the MCE folder in Program FIles X86 might be separate from any specific flight sim installation? I will reach out to Ben. Thanks again, Matt
  5. Good afternoon, I've been enjoying MCE on FSX and decided to re-install my old p3dv5 installation to give it a try. P3D is running just fine with other addons. After I reran the setup wizard for MCE, P3D crashes within a few moments of trying to start. Here is the crash log... If I use the "delete generated files" tool in P3D, it returns to normal, but doesn't see MCE. So if I rerun the MCE wizard again, then P3D crashes on start. I saw other threads about this and I tried putting FsInsider64.dll on the exclusion list for Windows Defender. No change. I also tried the startup with renaming FSInsider64.dll to disabled-FSInsider64.dll. When I do that P3D starts up just fine. So I think it is something with FSInsider64? I am not running in any compatibility mode, and the problem remains whether or not I run as administrator. Are there any known issues or fixes? Thanks! Matt
  6. I removed and reinstalled both PF3 and MCE before seeing your reply. On initial try, no change. But then I tried the single key option you mentioned (I used the letter 'i') and it worked fine. I just changed it back to Ctrl + Shift + \ and it still works fine. So strange but I'm glad it's fixed! Thanks for the help.
  7. Quick update to my scenario: I start both MCE and PF3 as administrator I tell FO "You have ATC" I instruct him to "request ifr clearance" He contacts Clearance Delivery and asks for the clearance. Clearance delivery issues the clearance FO reads it back Clearance delivery never says "readback correct" All of my hotkeys in PF3 are checked on and are default. I am using a TTS voice in MCE. PF3_MCE.ini is: [MCE] Active=1 Logged=1 PF3Transmitting=0 My clearance.log is only one line: Delta 1810 cleared to EDDF on Delta Papa departure climb and maintain flight level 70 squawk 6234 Call sign in MCE flight info: Delta one eight one zero I currently have the Use <DEL> or <END> key for transn box unchecked. The PTT joystick button is assigned as my trigger button on my joystick and that box is checked. "Ctrl + Shift + \" is my default "roger" hotkey Thanks for any help you may provide.
  8. Hi all, New to trying to use PF3 with MCE. I have flown standalone with PF3 just fine and standalone with MCE just fine. But I can't seem to do both with much success. I have asked the FO to handle the radios. When I ask him to call for clearance, he does, and we receive the clearance, but then he doesn't read it back. However, half of the time PF3 then says readback correct. It's almost like he is interacting with it without me hearing anything. I've look for as much reference as I can with no luck. Any advice? Matt
  9. I know it has only been a few months, but I was hoping there might be a little progress on the compatibility with FF 757v2. I went ahead a bought the full version of MCE because I really do like the functionality of it. Now I have noticed the engine start sequence does not execute correctly and the command to turn the fuel control start lever off doesn't work either. Still hopeful, Matt
  10. Thanks! I'll make sure to check back and see if it gets fixed. Unfortunately, changing the radios by voice is the one thing that I really need, and I fly the FF 757 a majority of the time. Thanks again for your quick reply and support! Matt
  11. I've downloaded the demo and I hope to use MCE for the Flight Factor 757 in X-plane 11. However, whenever I ask the copilot to set COM1 or ADF or the Transponder he sets the incorrect frequency. I monitor the caption of what I am saying and it is correct, and he also reads it back correctly. But the interface seems to be off when he tries to set the radio frequencies. This seems to be Flight Factor 757v2 specific. I looked at the 737 and it works ok. Of course, I don't want to restart too many times on the demo! I searched and searched for an answer to this before posting. Sorry if it has already been covered elsewhere! Matt
