  1. Having some issues installing the latest update and I keep getting the following warning -

Another application has exclusive access to the file:

    C:\Users\Name\Documents/Prepar3D Add-on\AI Lights Reborn Professional Edition\add-on.xml

Please shut down all other applications, then click retry. Click Cancel to exit the installation [#1001]

I close everything down and it still doesn't work, also I don't used P3D V5 so I don't know why there would be an issue with that.

    Thanks, Oliver

  2. Hi there,

I'm having problems trying to differentiate the lights of the Airbus FSPX models. I have separate light settings for older Airbus and newer ones so the A350 and A330neo have newer style lights. But for some reason even though they're in different sections with different settings - older has Xenon lights while newer has LED strobes - they all have the LED strobes. Even when I took them out and put them into the Default Global Fleet section they still have LED lights.

I've used used your Excel spreadsheet settings and I don't have the issue with the Boeing models.

    Thanks, Oliver

  3. Hi,

I've just added the Boeing 757-200WL - RR model and for some reason I've got double sets of lights - for when the aircraft is on the ground and once airborne and they flex. It has also seemed to have changed the settings for all the other AIG 757s and they all have the double lights. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks, Oliver

  4. Hi, hopefully the picture is attached but the lights on the OSP ATR72 are out of place after moving the aircraft over to the programme. The lights are the right position (level wise) but aren't in place where they should be.

Any ideas what will cause it or how to fix It? Doesn't matter how many times I change it back to the original positions, when it compiles it always seems to do that.

    Thanks

Before you do ask questions in the hardware forum if you need advice. https://www.avsim.com/forums/forum/326-mobo-ram-cpu-hdd-ssd-desktops-laptops/

You haven't disclosed your location in your profile or signature which can be helpful at times like this. If you're UK based consider buying from Chillblast as they have an excellent reputation and have PCs designed for use with flight sim. https://www.chillblast.com/flightsimpcs

Also have a budget in mind. The more you spend in general the better the performance. In a PMDG737 taxiing at Dublin my fps remained in the 30s. My Chillblast PC is shown in my sig.

Thanks Ray, I am in the UK so will have a look at that

  6. Right, so my PC spec is the following -

    Manufacturer - ASUStek COMPUTER INC.

Model - ASUS Desktop PC M51BC Series

    Processor - AMD FX(tm)-8300 Eight-Core Processor  3.30GHz

    Installed Memory (RAM) - 12.0GB

System Type - 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

and the screen resolution is - 1920 x 1080 which is the recommended.

    Hope that's what you need.
