I think that proves there is plenty of interest and demand, but rejected anyway. So I don't think the decision has anything to do with lack of public interest, UNLESS that "vocal minority" that I keep harping on about influenced things. But regardless, we don't know and probably won't ever know, and MS/Asobo don't ever have to tell us. I'm just hoping they reconsider, and I do hope that the community continues advocating for additional SDK access and capabilities, in weather, and in all areas.
If I recall they discussed this in of dev streams and I think Jorg mentioned something about license or legal thing with Meteoblue, maybe Microsoft its deal with Meteoblue has an exclusive clause on it, wouldn’t be surprised.

The Passive Depiction Mode can be interesting at least for me since it enhances the live default weather (that means MSFS has control), but remains to be seen

That is in the old days, MSFS has now offeres from Real ATC and some other one (I forgot its name, salty something maybe) both use Generative AI to generate the ATC phrases and sounds.

Sorry what?! Are you sure you are flying with MSFS and not FSX?

By the way from their product page, looks is based on preset and looks like it will just internally update it in intervals, pretty much like REX, so yeah.

If MSFS doesn't even allow you to access the weather APIs natively, I am skeptical it will be more or less similar to REX weather app.

Rest assured, anything pops up in Fenix, will be directly purchased, will write a script to do this LOL!

I don't know about you, but since the B2 release, the Fenix has became so addictive that can no longer fly anything else and only Fenix, the level of immersion is mind blowing. Thank you Fenix and Aamir for this beautiful bird, your hardwork is showing and looking forward for more birds from Fenix!

Most folks give high praises for that freeware 787 out there and the word not allowed thing flies like a cessna - It's actually ridiculous, but hey it has a nice EFB right?
well is free, aka 0$, so is fine but not 90$ 😄

Yep many are reporting plane freezing when pressing the MCDU button which I think is a major issue

Honestly the A310 is actually okay not bad, I fly it often. It had some issues in SU14 but in 15Beta, actually works with no issues (at least for me) but of course the obvious bugs like the VNAV is sometimes a bit off but got used to it

55 minutes ago, mspencer said:These are issues they're having with the A300 - MCDU crashes, Simbrief import crashing the box, fall out of the sky, and CTDs, so unsurprising the A320 which probably shares the same base code for a lot of things is running into the same issues.
Really???! I mean I don't care about their A320Neo (God bless FBW) but I feel sorry in advance for the A350 which most likely will have the same garbage

I mean is fine to have bugs or vnav is not always correct but breaking bugs like plane just freeze (which many are reporting), is questionable. IMO despite this plane is free, iniBuild would hurt their name with this release 😕

You can skip to the end of the video to hear his closing thoughts, and he really sounds bummed and dissappointed.
His conclusion: Not releaseworthy at all.
Honestly FBW is way better, only the 3D model is not good due to Asobo's original 3D model. I wish to see FBW systems with iniBuilds 3D model which is honestly the only positive thing about this plane

MCDU freezing is really a critical bug, I didn't even do anything (just selected the runway) and the plane is dead 🤔.

47 minutes ago, Fiorentoni said:So typical iniBuilds, I guess. Freezes on the MCDU, VNAV not working most of the time and reversers not working correctly. All seen on the A300. Do they use the same code just with another external model, I begin to wonder...
Surely the same code with different input. It will not be scalable to re-write similar code from scratch

Aerosoft A330 won't be release in the next 6month or even next year since now they are targeting MSFS2024 and pulled the plug from MSFS2020

Something I noticed, Navigraph since MSFS release, they are rapidly growing and their offerings are expanding rapidly. I don't recall that was the case during P3D and XP days. Nice times

50 minutes ago, abrams_tank said:did some searching and I can't find any history of FSLTL for P3D. Can someone from P3D confirm if FSLTL is a new 3rd party developer?
They never existed in P3D, they are the "new breed" of developers (same like FBW and WT)

2 minutes ago, Fiorentoni said:You can contribute since the very first day of development. It's an open source development.
https://github.com/flybywiresimThe model is not, you can build the JS and wasm code but the arts and model are still "private" source and they are not built like the A32X

Looks perfectly flyable. I think at this point FBW should release it to the community as alpha so it encourages other contributors to contribute to the plane. It is hard to contribute if the plane is still not released. It is perfectly fine if not all features are working upon releasing but that is fine, it is a community project and community will contribute with features and fixes. So I urge to FBW to open it up and let the community do its job, it is not a payware and the expectations shouldn't be like this.

I think Kai has improved AIG installation experience comparing how it used to be in P3D, which to be fair got a lot better but still takes time. FSLTL is the easiest when it comes to installing. Personally I use AIG models with FSLTL injector or you can use AIG injector since you fly offline, either both, you are not losing anything.
