Which aircraft would you like to see interfaced in the future
Mayday, mayday, mayday! X-Plane 11.50b9 on OpenGL has just crashed! And in the Log.txt it says "X-Plane crashed due to XPML plugin" 😞 😞 What to do?

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Thanks for the patch! It's strange though, sometimes FO calls out "400 climbing" when descending... Also what I noticed: It's nice to have a "Transition level" callout, but when climbing on a high barometer you get the callout twice - once when you reach the altitude and then once again after you set the standard pressure. I think what would solve this would be a timer of like 10 seconds that would prohibit the callout after it was made 🙂

Well, specificly for example a "400" callout in the 737 after takeoff. Or The start of a flow after switching on the landing lights during taxi or after retracting the speedbrake after landing. Generally the option to modify triggers would be welcome 🙂

Thanks, Gerald. At least for me it seems to be working so far... In the past there were questions about triggering flows or callouts at certain speeds / altitudes or possibly at the push of a button. Is this technically possible to add to MCE?

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Tried various things: "one eight" "eighteen" "runway one eight" "runway in use is one eight" ... and each time he replies "runway one eight". But some 30 seconds later he asks again. My point is - I don't need that particular feature, would be cool to be able to turn it off. Best regards

While you're at it - is there an option to stop FO asking about runway in use? I tell him and he says roger and 30 sec later he asks again...

Me too and still sometimes scroll lock is engaged and FO can still hear me...

Negative, the audio device was set correctly. I fixed the problem by changing windows language to english again (I had it in german for a couple of weeks). So I guess that's been it. Working fine now

Tested it again. Did the whole speech training and everything. Just won't work...

FO doesn't seem to hear me, doesn't respond at all... X-Plane 11.50b4. Speech training didn't help...

Ok, End key is speed up for me... could change it, but any chance I can set it up to be Del instead of End?

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Short question about something very annoying in X-Plane: When I want the "del" button to mute the mic (for talking to ATC), which I do, I have to have the "talk to ATC" feature enabled. But whenever I transmit something then after 5 seconds or so, the FO will open the default ATC window of X-Plane. I tried turning on and off the "close ATC window automatically" as well as "can handle radio when busy" but the window keeps on opening. Is there a fix to my problem?

Very nice, indeed the "UseAlternateGrammar=1" was deleted. Something else came up, too. I recently (thanks to your help) was able to uncheck "talks a lot". But still when a checklist comes up most of the time he says something like "What? You want me to read the checklist?". I also unchecked "strict checklist" so really he shouldn't bother and just do as he's told...

thanks very much! It still happens sometimes that FO can hear me even if scroll lock is on... any idea why that is? Also, previously I had it set that "gear down" triggers a flow, now it just retracts the gear again... how do I fix this again?

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Hi, I'm experiencing a more and more annoying theme: It's a great feature to have the "Scroll lock" button mute the FO. But often it just doesn't work, or more specifically, it stops working. When I hit my scroll lock button a light goes on on the keyboard. When that light is on, I want the FO to be deaf to anything I say. Unfortunately there seems to be some way to at least partly override this, as sometimes after a while he starts answering or even doing stuff in the cockpit when I'm talking to someone in the room or over discord. It may have to do with switching between windows, as I found out I have to go back into the X-Plane Application window undo scroll lock and engage it again. Then he shuts up for a while, but its not how it should be right?

Please do so! I liked it very much to get through the checklists quickly and smoothly! That makes sense! I was just sitting on apron and wanted to test the after takeoff checklist. So then of course it's no problem, I just didn't know MCE was checking the flight phase.

Thanks. Another question: Is it normal that even after disabling "talks a lot" he wants me to confirm checklists? Like: - after takeoff checklist -confirm after takeoff checklist Thought this would be smoother with "talks a lot" disabled?! edit: also it seems the checklist reading is strangely slower now... any clues why that could be?

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
You're working so fast... I'm impressed every time! I did a test flight. The "bug up" feature works! Only for some strange reason the actual bug didn't go up to 214 knots but down to 150. But on the autopilot 214 was set and the plane accelerated, so it works besides a cosmetic part. The speed callout on takeoff was fine but on landing it was missing altogether. Actually I don't mind that, but I think that wasn't what you wanted?! I managed to uncheck "talks a lot"! And the trim works fine too! So all in all very happy with the changes! Thanks so very much! edit: I presume I'm not supposed to switch the files with the zip file above? That would be covered in the updated version, right?

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Awesome, thanks! 🙂 Also there are some other things on the ZIBO Mod I found confusing / annoying: - "bug up" call makes FO set speed 150. That makes almost no sense, as this is often even below V2+15 and definitely nowhere near flaps up speed. Best would be of course for "bug up" to go to flaps up speed, but I realise this is probably complicated. I found out that "speed up" makes FO set speed 200, which is more like it. I tried to make a voxscript for it, but that revealed the second problem to me: - when entering a "set speed xy" command inside a vox script it doesn't work. "set speed two two five" works when spelled out aloud, but in a vox script it just never does. Looks like a bug to me?! - having the FO control the stab trim is almost impossible. It never sets the correct value and what's worse, he sometimes trims all the way up or down and you can't stop him doing it. Only solution is to restart MCE and just never to command him a trim value ever again... this one seems to be problematic with other aircraft, too. - BIG COMPLAINT: when doing an ILS approach sometimes he calls "localizer alive", "glideslope alive", "glideslope captured" like ten times (without any of them being captured at all, they just came alive). I'd like to just turn the "localizer" and "glideslope" calls off altogether, but I don't quite know how. I believe "FMC callouts" is Airbus only?! And besides, I'd like all those other callouts, just not those, cause they just won't stop sometimes. A solution could be that after the first call this callout is muted for 5 minutes. That way he won't go crazy and in case of a go-around he'll be ready for the second approach... - Speed callout: Yes, they work. But I find them to be a little off... sometimes (probably on light weight takeoffs) the "80 knots" callout comes way too late (like at 90 or even 100 knots). Also the "70 knots" callout on landing comes at 50 or 45 knots sometimes. I would solve this myself if it was possible to set up speed-related callouts. Like I would make the "80 knots" call trigger at 70 knots or something. But as this isn't possible at the time I wonder if there's anything else I can do to make it more spot on? Those are just a few things that I discovered to be a bit annoying. I don't even want to bother you so much with those little things... I'd appreaciate it if you looked into it nevertheless. Thank you. Regards

Sorry I tried everything, even did a fresh installation of Multi Crew... I can't untick the "talks a lot" option. You said on the org forums it's got something to do with permissions or something... well I can't figure it out :-( Can you help me here? Best regards

Don't be sorry, your service is great! I'll report whatever I find, however. Still MCE is great!

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
I have installed the FF A320, the JAR Design A330 and the FF A350. The Jar Design is a joke at the current stage and needs thorough refinements, so don't bother with that. The A350 is probably only days before a major update. The A320 is in my view a masterpiece and doesn't get changed every other day. Soon there's going to be a Toliss A321, I'll probably have a look at that one, too. Thanks for the info on FMA. "Reverse green" now the callout. Minimum callout gone, too! Very good work like always! I presume there's no way to modify the callouts somewhere as a user? I was thinking to have a variety of calls for the spoilers deployed, like "speedbrake up", "spoilers" and so on. But I guess you're the only one who can make those changes, right? edit: tested the FF A320 changes, too, and they work! But strangely FO is now unable to change the flap setting... "Flaps one" he repeats "Flaps" and nothing happens...

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
I just tried out several flights with "FMA callouts deactivated" to find out wich callouts precisely are left out, but I found out that all the callouts still were there. 80 knots V1 Rotate V2 Positive Climb _________________________ one thousand five hundred Minimums (still at around 50 ft, which wasn't set on aircraft) Ground Spoilers Reverse thrust (still only after adding thrust) What exactly is meant by "FMA callouts" ? edit: I found "Mode announcements" now... what's the difference between those?^^

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Great! Tested it with the FF A320 and it worked perfect btw!

If you think you have found something that's not working.........
Thanks! Track works fine, Spoilers call is cool too! Reverse thrust is called out too now, but it doesn't really help me for my purpose. He doesn't call the reverses deployed, but the reverse thrust set. So I have to add thrust to get the callout, which goes against the whole purpose^^ But: I'm happy with how it is now, I can live with it! It's way more realistic! One more thing I noticed on one of those test landings: FO made the "minimums" call at 50 ft, radio alt was set to 300 ft (Zibo Mod made the correct callout too). Sometimes the FO makes "one thousand" or "five hundred" callouts a little early or a little late... my question: Can I disengage the altitude callouts (most aircraft have GPWS to do that anyway), but still have the other callouts (V1, Rotate, Spoilers, Reverse...)? Ist that somehow feasible? Best regards and thanks again for the fix!
