Live weather doesn't work

Interesting, thanks I'll try that. -

How do you do that? -
Live weather doesn't work

I'm having this problem too. It's not greyed out...it's enabled. But live weather only loads intermittently. Maybe one out of 3-5 tries it loads, but most of the time I just get clear skies. Even when the live weather conditions should be overcast. This has been happening for me for quite a long time now, perhaps 6 months or so. It's been really frustrating and I wish I could find a fix for it. -
Is there a simbrief profile for the Darkstar? 🙂

Why do the clouds always stop working on the weekend? Anyone else seeing this today? Worked fine all week long and then bam, all of a sudden on Saturday...no clouds.
-
Fair enough, but I'm not getting any younger. I hope when I'm old and tired, you young punks will help me out. 🙂

Well, that's a little harsh. I think maybe he just hasn't seen an Airbus before. I haven't either...but I'm looking forward to the journey.

Yes, you can run the EFB externally on an iPad and they've added the necessary meta tags to run it fullscreen on an iPad so it's very seamless. Very cool! I just bought the PMDG 737 last week and I love it. I'll still be flying it often. But I'm all in on the Fenix A320 right now. Both of them are a must have, but I'd probably buy the Fenix first.
-
I absolutely love them both. I do think the Fenix A320 has better ground operations (more automated and convenient) and the EFB is awesome. This is a big win over the PMDG 737. But I love the PMDG 737 and they are both a must have for me.

OMG, I can't believe they got this right and added it right away. Might seem like a small thing but as an iPad user, I was really hoping they would do this. Their attention to detail is absolutely wonderful. They are all over this product from top to bottom.

FENIX NDA lifted at 1200Z!!!!!!!!!
nbhall68 replied to captain420's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
No, I didn't forget...I just don't care. I think that flightsim developers SHOULD make money. As should anyone for their work. When I think about how many hours, or even years of entertainment that I've gotten for a lousy $70...I can't think of another value proposition on Earth that even comes close to matching that. The PMDG 737 costs $70 US, the Fenix A320 costs roughly $60 US. Lol, okay fine...on both counts. Although their presentation may differ somewhat, I think both developers are proud of their work (as they should be) and I enjoy their enthusiasm. Anyway, very much looking forward to a release date for the Fenix A320! -

Actually, I'm probably not a PMDG word not allowed. I'm very much looking forward to the Fenix A320 as well. But neither one of them cost more than what dinner costs me almost every night. Ubereats...now that's profiteering. And I only get 15 minutes of entertainment out of it. -

Well I just got the PMDG 737 for MSFS for free. And I still have another $30 credit left over. So if they're "profiteering"...they're not very good at it. -
Fenix A320: The End of a Beta
nbhall68 replied to bendead's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I would like to congratulate the Fenix team on what appears to be a job well done. I will be buying it for sure despite the fact that I'm not a huge Airbus fan. I would also like to share my distaste for the PMDG bashing that's gone on in this thread. PMDG has been innovating for decades. I think one of the reasons we're even here today is because of them. They had the courage to envision something more way back when it was barely even possible. And I disagree wholeheartedly that they're "not innovating" anymore. The product they released this week is amazing. I look forward to more amazing products from all the 3rd party developers. It's an exciting time to be here. -
Constant Crashing after SU9?

Thanks, but the only thing in my community folder is the PMDG 737.
