Thanks for the reply. I have the 'Store' version and don't see Local Files in the Properties. I have re-installed FS2020 clean to a dedicated SSD received the same message. Re-installed Windows 10 clean then again FS2020 clean which took around 6 hrs, same error message. I have been swimming since 1984 and never had problems like this. I have sent a ticket to Zendesk so hopefully they can sort out the problem. John

I just updated FS2020 to 1.18.13.0, when I satrt I get checking for updates the 'you are missing essential packages that are essential to run MSFS2020, please update the application. The only option is Quit. I checked the Store for updates and no updates found. Any ideas other that a complete re-install? John

I did a flight earlier and didn't get the 'launching game' screen. Just re-started and now I do get the screen? Very strange indeed. John
