  1. Well i can tell all you guys that the X-Plane.org store sucks big time. There customer service sucks and they rip a lot of people off including myself. I'm sure not everyone has had a bad experience with them, but beware is all i can say.
  2. Hi, Thanks GoranM. Yes i realize the store is not affiliated with Laminar. I knew that from the beginning. And i have checked my spam folder as well and nothing. 😞 I am trying to work out the Piper 161 from Just Flight. I bought that one first because i like their planes a lot and own several, but the issue I'm running across with their plane is the pilot does not disappear when i am in the cockpit using Track IR. I have tried several things their Tech support has had me try, but no luck. It's so disappointing. 😞
  3. Yes Yes. 😄 I too have been an avid FSX Steam flyer since 2014 as i am a real single engine pilot as well. My best friend has always used X-Plane and he tried to get me to switch years ago, but FSX was so easy to setup and more user friendly to me who is not computer literate at all. But then the new MSFS2020 came out and i was done with FSX Steam. But me too got into flying it and there were so many bugs and the aero dynamics did not feel real to me at all. Now FSX did not feel as real either compared to flying the real planes but it was close enough for me to enjoy. Well i got rid of FSX when i switched to MFS 2020. So I lost all my settings, flights and the months of setting things up. I did not want to go back to FSX anymore. So i took my best friends advise and installed X-plane 11 and bought several planes and scenery files for my state and man, i am so glad i switched. The only thing i can say i don't really like about X-Plane compared to FSX is the Track IR is so very sensitive compared to FSX. The movements are very.... well hard to explain but it's ok once i get used to it. I can make it work for the most part. But other than that, the planes fly and taxi so much like the real planes i fly. So yes i have to agree. I wish i switched or never used FSX in the past. So i'm using X-Plane most of the time now. I am trying to get Pilot2ATC to work on my system because i don't care for the ATC in X-Plane compared to FSX so once i can figure out how to get that installed and working/setup on my machine, that will make things way better when flying IFR.
  4. Hey guys, so i bought two airplanes from this company named Aerosphere. They are the Piper Warrior II Turbo and the Piper Warrior II 161. They were $24.95 ea. But here is my issue. When i purchased them through X-Planestore.org, they did not come with serial numbers that i need to activate them in X-plane once i installed them. X-Plane store told me i need to get them from Aerosphere directly. Well i have emailed them 5 different times in the past week and they never get back to me with the serial numbers i need to fly these planes. So i tried to get a refund from X-Plane store and they laughed at me telling me sorry no refunds on software period for any reason. So I'm stuck paying $50,00 for planes i can't use. I read somewhere that Aerosphere is no longer in business. Meaning their site is still up and running, but there is no tech support or anyone to answer emails. But stores like X-Planestore can still sell the download files, but once you buy them, your out of luck in using them. So does anyone know how i can get around this? Or am I just out of $50 bucko's? :-(
  5. So does anyone know why my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, rudder pedals, and throttles don't work in the sim at all? They used to when i first installed the sim, but when i went to get into it today, NOTHING 😞 I have uninstalled the sim and reinstalled it and still nothing. I can't get anyone from Microsoft or Steam to help me with this. Everyone says i have to come here to have someone know what to do to fix my problem. I don't really like this really. I feel if i spend $120.00 for a sim, i should be able to talk to someone over the phone to help get this working. I'm seriously thinking of going back to FSX Steam. It was much more steady with no issues like this. And i can use all my switch panels in FSX as well which i really miss a ton.
  6. I would like to read about any of you guys out there are having issues like me or similar issues regarding this new simulator. So i'm basically just venting because i can't do it on the MSF2020 Forum. This new Microsoft Simulator 2020 sucks big time. I am so very disappointed that i spend $120.00 for this right now. I should have waited till 2021 to buy it. Now don't get me wrong, I love the scenery. That is freaking amazing. But if you can't fly the planes right, the scenery is useless. I can fly the Cessna 172 pretty good. Why? Well because it flies slow. You have time to mess around with your mouse to flip switches and turn dials. But when you fly a jet like the CJ4 and you try and run everything in the plane, it's impossible with a mouse. See, in FSX Steam, i used my Saitek Switch Panel, Radio Panel, my Autopilot Panel and Cessna Trim Wheel to control most things in the cockpit. But we can't use these panels in the new sim. Microsoft says they are old and outdated. Well hell, what about these guys that have home made built cockpit simulators that use a lot of these panels. Now they can't use MFS2020 because all there panels wont work. 😮 This is one thing i'm upset about. Not only that, but i can't seem to fly the Citation CJ4 and the TBM 930 because trying to use the autopilot systems in these planes is a joke. 😞 Man i setup the autopilot in these planes and they don't really do things right. Then when i disconnect the autopilot just to fly the plane by hand, it's all over the place. It still keeps trying to keep the same altitude i had it set too when the autopilot was engaged. I can't fly these planes with the autopilot off. It's crazy. I'm so disappointed. Then i own a Saitek Cessna Trim Wheel. Well the new sim don't support it so i can't use that. And i wasn't able to set up my electric trim on the yoke at all right. And here is another issue i didn't like. If you're taking off on a runway and i just barely move my rudder pedals to try and keep the plane straight, just a millimeter movement throws the whole plane around like i'm pushing the rudder pedals back and fourth really hard. The planes just don't seem to fly right. I've been flying with FSX Steam since 2014 and finally got it setup to fly pretty darn nice. 2020 doesn't come close to the real physics of the FSX planes. I don't know. This is just a few of the issues i'm having with it. 😞 So, i've decided to uninstall the new sim for now and try X-Plane 11. I can buy some Scenery from ORBX and a few planes i like to fly and try it. 😄 My best friend uses X-Plane, and has his whole life and will never switch to a different simulator. He swears by it. And again, maybe in January i'll look into the new MFS2020 and see if it's any better and maybe by then someone out there will create a plug-in to use the switch panels and my trim wheel. I hope. Well thanks for taking your time to read my complaints. 🙂 I can't vent to Microsoft about this so i had to do it here. I hope you guys have better luck with the new sim. I just know it's not for me right now. 😞 Thanks all. Have a nice day. '
