You should at least check the trial on SayIntention before just to have something to compare to. Other than that I dont think BATC is worth it now and if you can wait you should wait at least a couple of months. I do think it will take them at least that much to fix all the problems with arrival and I dont see traffic being a thing this year.

At this point I dont think there is something in particular that I would like to see other than the program launched and see for myself. That was kinda my point, prerelease videos and even first looks tend to brush over the faults because the person is excited about a brand new thing that he wants to be great. After a while, couple of days or a week you tend to see all those little things that annoyed you a little at the start are transforming into deal breakers. So yeah, good luck with developement, I`m verry intererested to see how the final product will shape up to be.

Beyond ATC looked awesome in preview videos also so this video doesnt mean too much. We`ll just have to wait and see. For now voices are nothing to write home about but if the program is solid that wont matter.

Is working but you have to do that every time you launch the program at least on my system I need to cycle sources.

SayIntentions has some kind of ATC Chatter right now but probabably those are sent to more than one user at once so the costs could be low. Traffic on the other hand would have to be individual to each and every user and adapt dinamically to the situation so that could be a challenge. We will have to wait and see.

From my testing I dont see how having traffic active will not become crazy expensive really fast. Those characters are flying by even when I`m solo and switching to basic in cruise. Could be that having premium for the whole flight with traffic will cost you more than a SayIntention sub. I`m preparing for that by using mostly basic.

Some problems I have after 10 flights or so. - I really really dont like that I cant ask for a different runway or different aproach . I thought that wont be a problem but it really is. And I dont understant why, even the default ATC let you chose those if you really want. - If I try to request engine start and only engine start I`m getting a cleared to align or backtrack the runway, I have no idea why. -When its asking you to call when ready to descent and you confirm will call when ready to descent the AI will interpret that you are ready to descent and give you a lower altitude. On the same note, if you asked by mistake (like me pressing first option when in climb) for descent the whole flight is bricked. I was 500 miles away of my destination in climb and asked for descent. From there all I was getting was a heading and a lower altitude. Had to fly offline rest of the way. -you ask for descent once and thats it. You cant ask again even if you are at the asigned altitude, you need to wait until you get further descent even if that is way late. -I got a visual approach and because I couldnt find the airport fast the ATC activated missed approach and even if by then I had runway in sight and was ready to land I couldnt tell that and had to go around. -Some of the time is a really good idea to omit saying your callsign. If I`m getting a new frequency just saying my callsign at the end lower the chance of being understood by 50%. If I readback only the frequency no problem almost every time. I`m kinda dissapointed because I feel that the state of the program now is in no way ready to launch. And I`m only speaking about the IFR part not traffic. IFR aproach has maybe a 50% chance of going okey and they said that part is mostly done and in 2-4 months will have traffic. Yeah, not gonna happen. Maybe in a year will have traffic if they will fix the current problems with approach and vectoring. I`m almost certain that they run out of money and they need to lauch something asap whatever the state. The poll was only to have an excuse when people will complain about the multiple bugs and missing features.

I really like the changes from this latest build. Simple basic voice accents and toggle bring to front are really good and you have to wonder why stuff like that wasnt caught before early access. Now I wonder if you can make the program call you by the tail number...

Some people think that they needed to release early and the poll was just a way to get deniability because it was clear from the start what will users choose.

The problem I have with Pilot2ATC is that voice recognition is really really bad. I`m not a native english speaker and for me it is absolutely impossible to make it work so I have to use copilot and clicking on things I wanna say. I tried SayIntentions and its a mixed bag for IFR flying but at least voice recognition is top notch. I`m also using more and more now FSHud. Voices are a bit better than the free ones from Pilot2ATC and has no voice recognition but its easy to setup and use and works mostly out of the box. It also controlls traffic with varying degrees of succes sometimes is really good and sometimes you get 10 speed restrictions in a row.
