I have been using licensed version pmdg 737 series and using nicely without any issues. After Sim Update 14, second engine does not start or spools up though APU is running and first engine starts without any issue. In order to ensure smooth experience, I uninstalled through clean uninstall using external software but to no avail. Evenafter that second engine doesn't start at all. With single engine running, PMDG behaves weirdly like rolling to left or right instead of going straight for take off. I am clueless after extensive search. I have installed recently updated 737-900 and was using earlier versions without any issues. With new update, flying has become tricky. Before update, I could turn knobs either increase or decrease the speed, altitude, vertical speed etc. Now with the update, I could increase the speed from 100 (default) to any value or even decrease while initially climbing, similarly, it happens with altitude or Vertical speed etc but after some altitude climb, while I try to climb higher the altitude shown above the knob concerned, is actually decreasing with the arrow indicator is showing decreasing indication even while I keep on trying to turn knob in increasing direction. I uninstalled 737-900 and reinstalled, this issue keeps on surfacing. This happens with vertical speed also while in flight. Please suggest any workaround

I have been using MSFS 2020 ever since its launch. Every now and then I used to encounter issues in the SIM that too after few sim updates. After Sim update X patch through store, I could start the sim up till settings screen, thereafter it crashed while in update download. I tried to resolve it through all suggested means, but couldn't succeed. So, finally I clean uninstall it and format the drive and reinstall MSFS 2020 through store as it is store version. After reinstallation, updated version shows 1.27.21.0 which by all means is sim update X version. After launching to settings screen to world screen it was smooth. There a message flashes on screen 'Essential Package update" and you will be taken to launch screen. After into launch screen, I am taken to initial setting screen and then to check for updates screen and then foggy blank screen appears and the package is not downloading at all. Can anyone suggest a fix?

Now, I reinstalled MSFS 2020 including all from content manager, and I tried to download this essential package I was informed that sim will be reverting to launch screen. When I invoked OK button, sim took me to launch screen and then to check for updates, the essential package is not downloading and the screen stays foggy and hangs on. Can anyone suggest the resolution?

Hi friends, Thanks for your suggestions. Before, I could locate the real issue, I tried all these suggestions. Once thanks for those valuable suggestions. Finally I located the issue that stalled the downloaded and it is anti-virus firewall that blocked downloaded. On identifying this, I tried to exempt flightsimulator.exe from my antivirus software, quickheal. But I couldn't succeed. So I uninstalled the program and could download everything except essential package install. When I tried to download this essential package, after successfully downloading premium deluxe installer, other packages including those in content manager, I was informed that this will be reverting to update screen. When I invoked OK button, sim took me to loading screen and then to update screen which stays blurred without any essential package download.

thanks for your replies friends. If it is hardware failure, then I could not install or run any program, I presume. But I can install and other programs successfully without glitch

I have been playing msfs 2020 since its launch. On and off, there are issues with sim updates, I have either reinstalled or followed steps suggested in the forums or youtube or by asobo team. After I downloaded and installed sim update X through store and started the sim, it progressed to update screen and when i tried to download as suggested, msfs 2020 crashed to desktop. Thereafter, i tried many a time, but failed and CTD was the result. Again, I unistalled and reinstalled through store, sim progressed smoothly till update screen and there was an update of 125 gb size downloads suggested. When tried to download, CTD is the result. inspite of my best efforts through browsing the forums and youtube, i could not update it. MSFS 2020 is installed on SSD with an empty space of 681 gb. I can install all other programs and they have been running successfully. Even msfs 2020 is starting smoothly till update screen and thereafter only it CTD. Forum members, please suggest workaround to resolve this problem.

I have been using msfs 2020 since its launch. On and off have issues with sim either after sim update or load failures but that could be resolved with suggestions received from forums/ms support team. Present issue is quite different from earlier ones. I have updated msfs 2020 to sim update 10 via store as mine is store version. Thereafter only CTD on either loading or updating happens. After performance allocation, uninstalling msfs and reinstalling and again format drive with other format tools easeus etc, I could install and start the loading screen successfully. After asobo and blackshark load screen, update screen appears. Once update is invoked, update starts receiving files and crashes to desktop immediately after update screen is operating and receiving data.

I have been using MSFS 2020 since its launch and regularly updating with Asobo sim updates. I could update till SimUpdate 7 without any issue. Now, I am trying update with SimUpdate 8. I am getting error as below. Warning: Connection Lost - Please ensure you have an active internet connection, and check the forums for additional information. The system will attempt to reconnect regularly. OK/SWITCH OFFLINE. Initially I tried with OK and left with no other but quit. Same is the case with SWITCH OFFLINE. I also tried to update after a couple of days and even today. My internet connection is active with a download speed of 75 mbps WIFI connectivity. Even tried with wired connection of 250 mbps stable. All attempts failed. I went through all suggestions in forums but couldn't resolve it. It happened only with SimUpdate 8. Is Asobo servers are still clogged with download request/anyone can download it without any issues? Please suggest workaround. I tried to log out of xbox app, store and even msfs 2020 and before i could login, MSFS 2020 automatically logged into windows live account which I linked at the time of initial purchase..
