  1. I posted some updated pics in our FB. I used Steve's 79% technique and the screen shots look much better! We also did some slight tweaks on the nose. These pics were to hi-light the non-winglet variant along with the cargo expansion ( that will come after the pax release as a paid expansion ). PW engines will follow soon.
  2. Thanks my friend. I do agree, the nose in that shot looks a bit off and I will study the model to see if it's a camera issue ( which some of the shots clearly stretch the nose out more than it is in the actual model source file ) or if it's a model issue with some of the curves being incorrect. We'll get this right. No worries.
  3. Hey Steve. Thanks for the insight here. It does a look a lot better! I will try out those settings for sure.
  4. Completely wrong. You have no clue what is going on behind the scenes..... but you are entitled to your opinion.
  5. We're happy to take a closer look if needed. Can you elaborate more? My main response was to the folks saying the nose is too elongated. It's definitely not that. I'll have to eventually post a side shot to illustrate this. However if from a certain angle you think it looks off then we'll take a look. Thanks.
  6. The only cost incurred on the VC iterations is time. It won't affect our intended price one bit. I can't comment on the price but it will be very competitive. We're not greedy, no worries 🙂 And guys I appreciate the critique on the nose, but I disagree with you on this. You need to understand camera perspective when looking at these pics. As we have said it multiple times in the past, it's the fish eye effect on the camera that makes the nose look elongated. Asobo needs to fix the camera. We do our best to mitigate that effect but it still throws people off. I apparently can't just paste an image into this post. I took a screen shot of the nose directly from the side but I can't directly paste it here. We used a combination of drawings and pictures to make sure the nose shape is accurate. That is one thing we want to get right for a 757. I'm going to paste some pics from my FB page instead. This is from 3ds max in orthographic view ( to get rid of perspective distortion ) They are not straight on but I think this gives a more accurate indication of the nose shape.
  7. This is something we are working on but I can't comment too much more. You shouldn't have to put on a flame suit just to express your opinion. I welcome the skepticism because it actually drives us. But unless you actually know what goes into developing a high quality aircraft, yes it does take a long time. We started this project from scratch and didn't have a previous model or a base of code to work from. I will give a lot more info next month on what where the project is going but this not just some "feature creep" more of a feature overhaul. But for those that lose patience, this is not the project for them. As I mentioned in my video we have an internal timeline ( and a bigger team now ) to work on the aircraft and get it completed. For everyone else, thank you for the support. This 757 will be worth the wait..... and the 767 too 🙂
  8. Hi Steve! Yup that is me. And I remember you as well from those days with the awesome paints. Can't believe it was 20 years go! 🙂
  9. Thank you for the apology. Yes I agree I will need to reach out to them to have this corrected. I agree that most use the flightsim websites to get their news and if there is incorrect info, it can create confusion.
  10. I typically like to stay away from forum chats but when someone posts blatant misinformation I need to intervene. Please take the time to watch the video before making a comment like that. The article on cruiselevel is incorrect. They clearly did not watch my full video or maybe the English translation is incorrect. They also spell my name incorrectly. I have never heard from these guys nor have they ever reached out to me for more clarification. Just to be clear and as stated in my video ( FF to 2 min ), it will have a custom APU, electrical, pneumatic, cabin press, IRS systems along with other systems ( I will have a comprehensive list in 4-5 months time ) . The hydraulics do work but are limited ( meaning if the pumps are off the control surfaces and landing gear will not work ). A more in depth hyd system is planned but will not be on the initial release ( will be provided as a free upgrade ). These things take time but we'll get there.
