  1. I agree. Can't wait to try one . I hope the Apple stores get them for people to check out. Something to look forward to.
  2. Well said by everybody here. It could be the next big thing or a total flop. Kind of reminded me of the Iron Man movies where Tony Stark uses his computer in the garage or man cave. But it might get old having to wear that on your head for a long time. May get very fatiguing.
  3. Hello, hope you are having a great day. Have you heard or seen the new charts by a new company that is similar to Jeppesen?
  4. I totally understand but sometimes it is the little things that are unforeseen that make the most difference. Hang in there.
  5. I did the form the other day and a while back I got permission from one the ADMIN to do it but to no avail.
  6. Hi, having trouble accessing the classifieds ads. I have a flight deck for sale that I would like to list there but cannot click on it to post there. Anyone know what the problem is?
  7. Thanks for the reply. Also, the expense would make it unavailable to some of the flight simmers. It would have to be a real game changer for anyone to consider it at that price.
  8. Hi, was curious if it can be used with FS2020? Also, I saw a person (Eye Doctor say having those screens so close to your eyes if done for long periods would be or could be very harmful). Anyone else heard that or no anything about it?
  9. Apple announced their new VR goggles the other day. Does anyone know if it might be able to work in FS2020?
  10. Hi, with the recent discussions on AI and all it may offer or take away in various industries and its impact on our society, any thoughts on what AI might do for our hobby flight simming? Could it offer some benefit that we haven't thought of yet? Maybe in future developments in software design or even hardware improvements?
  11. Thanks and I will. I assume you can post photos too? If not, I will link to a video on YouTube if that is okay.
  12. Thanks, I appreciate it. By the way, I have a custom built home cockpit flight deck I would like to sell. Would like to advertise it on this forum. How do I go about that?
  13. Thanks for that piece of information. However, I am looking for the version used in the original 1965 movie. That plane was a C-82 Packet. The C-119 was used in the remake version. Both planes were made by Fairchild.
  14. Hi, thanks for responding and nice to hear from you. Yes, Jimmy Stewart and a host of other awesome actors. Had the privilege several years ago of meeting Ernest Borgnine and talking with George Kennedy over the phone. In both cases, I was able to ask them about their experiences in being in the movie. As to being based on a true story, I also thought that when I was a kid. My bubble was burst when I discovered it wasn't. The movie is based on a novel by Elleston Trevor. It would have been incredible if it had. The closet thing I ever saw to something similar was a NOVA program called B-29 Frozen in Time. Awesome show and a must watch if you like airplanes. When I first saw it, I thought my God, this is Flight of the Phoenix in real life.
  15. Hello everyone, wanted to say Hi to all members and introduce myself. Just signed up to the forum. It's been awhile since I flew in a flight sim. Last time was in FSX. Now that FS2020 is out, can't wait to get back in the hobby. In the process of building a new computer and a home cockpit setup. Have a question for forum members. Was wondering if anyone knew of any aircraft and or scenery files for FSX and or FS2020 that would depict the movie scenes from the 1965 movie, Flight of the Phoenix. It's my favorite movie ever since I was a child and inspired me to become a pilot. Last time I checked, someone had created files depicting this for FS2004. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
