  1. That’s where I am now. My bravo is hanging on after 2 years, but there are so little other options that cater for all variants of flight with paying out hundreds/ thousands. the closest I’ve seen is a highly precise Kingair350 throttle quadrant which could be used for everything but that’s $$$$
  2. Not through PayPal no, they operate an 180 day returns policy so you are outside that band. it’s why I posted earlier in the threads that people should check if they paid with PayPal that they are still covered. credit cards are usually upto 24 months product cover.
  3. For a product due in Feb I’m not liking the odds of Fulcrum surviving
  4. Any news on the throttles being received yet ? my refund is sitting in my account generating interest so once I know these are shipping I’ll purchase again.
  5. Refund received from PayPal. good luck everyone, I would share my actual thoughts on this whole situation but I’m pretty sure there’s others who are more angered than myself
  6. Unfortunately Donka, I have been bitten before for a lot more money. A flightschool changed hands and with it almost £2k in cash of mine that I blocked on lessons and paid upfront. always check your buyer protections and in this situation I had a marker reminder in my calendar. End of July was my marker. my concern though is his site is still up and therefore still potentially taking payments from unsuspecting customers. I do hope he starts shipping out his orders but PayPal on my case have not had a single response from him yet ( he has an hour to left to respond ) which will potentially mean PayPal start a legal claim for the money that they will reimburse me.
  7. I’ve had a PayPal dispute open for awhile now and PayPal have just called me to say they still haven’t had any response from the seller. that’s incredibly poor service no matter how you look at it. I have the yoke already I bought it on preorder when it first was available. It’s brilliant so did the same for the throttles and even set aside the trim wheel cost ready to go once that was ready. paypal won’t mess about as I have previously stated. His account will have a strike and maybe even frozen until he resolves the claims raised against him.
  8. If you open a visa charge back they should do as a protected payment clause. I wasn’t prepared to risk my PayPal buyer protection and Chris does start dispatching units I’ll purchase again once his turn around time isn’t more than 6 weeks and units are actually leaving the shop. but until then I’ll keep my funds in my account and let it earn me some interest too 🙂
  9. PayPal still haven’t had a response from Chris in relation to my refund request. if there is no response from him soon then it will be an immediate refund and PayPal will strike his account. have any of you had any comms back from your emails ??
  10. Me too and the money will sit in my account generating me interest until he is either back up dispatching products with a 2 weeks turnaround or I add some more funds and get a TQ6.
  11. I’ve just initiated my buyer protection to recoup funds for the throttles. i am sorry Chris but I am not prepared to risk my buyer protection which expires at the end of the month after the details that were released here. Your original advertising stated the preorder would be fulfilled in Feb it was on that information I dipped my toe and coughed up £444.06 on affectively a promise, However I’m not prepared to wager that beyond my buyer protections which has a 180 day from time of purchase. as soon as the throttles are shipping and you’re able to give a 7-14 day lead time then I’ll purchase again. thanks
  12. When you get your refund which I no doubt expect Chris to do as a legit business owner .. we can all say 100% not you 🙂 in fact who’s to say that fund came out the business account at all ? so in which case it was out of Chris’s pocket.
  13. it is summer now 🤣 and summer can be interpreted differently as it’s such a broad period. I live in Wales. My summer is 4 weeks long lol. hmmm 🤔
  14. I’ll give it to the end of month and then re assess my options. Ideally an update needs to be published but I’ve waited longer from the likes of HoneyComb for my bravo throttles than I’ve waited here and there was zero communication from them. Sometimes things just don’t go as one would wish and that pushes dates but communicating to your buyers is imperative. let’s just see before you all break out the noose and pitchforks
  15. In order to reduce the amount of drag wouldn’t a trio of bearings to guide the shaft through the body be a better option? i have noticed on my unit that if I take weight of the yoke body the shaft lifts a mm or two and when fully central it allows a much more free movement. a trio of bearings as a shaft guide attached to the front casing would reduce the friction on the bushing.
