  3. Hi all, Ive been using P2A for a while now and without problems.....except when I want to use PMDG 777 and 747-400. P2A loads up ok and I can load up a flight plan. But, if I load up the aircraft on GPU, for example at EGCC, the active controller box of p2A says _ _ _ _ None 136.975, and the active freq box shows 136.975 with just dashes, while the standby freq shows 121.975 EGCC ATIS. When I click on the active freq box to switch to make the standby freq active, all that happens is both boxes show 136.975 and dashes. there is no communication nor any possible. If I load up the aircraft in default state with engines running, the ATIS is displayed in the active box and the ATIS is automatically playing. In the standby box, EGCC clr_Gnd is displayed, in this case, 121.70. When I click onto the active freq box to switch to gnd, ATIS stops as it should and then the gnd freq is shown as it should do, along with the option to select IFR Clearance, etc. I select IFR Clearance ready to copy IFR Clearance, but when I press the "speak" button, the request is played but there is no response from the controller, no matter how many times I repeat the request.. I am using P2A as fully automatic as I can - not using my voice. I have this problem with both aircraft and using both panel states and its the same at any airport. Do you have any advice for me please? I love the program with my other aircraft! I am using Win 10 with P3Dv5. Many thanks, Rory
  4. Hi Dave and all, I'm still getting to grips with P2A...Quite often I will fly out of my local airport, EGCC Manchester. There are normally altitude restrictions of 5000 ft on the SIDS. P2A assigns me an initial altitude of FL100 or FL1200. However I am then getting asked to descend back down to 5000 ft to meet the alt restrictions. is there any way of avoiding this? I've learned that I can double click onto a waypoint in the filightplan and that brings up a box to alter the target altitude, but not to change alt restrictions. Can I perhaps request a direct to waypoint that will bypass this? Many thanks, Rory
  5. Hi Dave, again, thanks for your help. Rory
  6. Hi, I am really enjoying the trial version of P2A, and will certainly buy a licence! At the moment I have a very cheap microphone that connects to the phone jack. However, I want to buy a USB microphone, and as I never normally go near a mic, do you know if I will have any issues with one of these and P2A? Many thanks, Rory
  7. Hi Dave, Thank you for replying. I will watch them again. Rory
  8. Hi all, As above, I have just downloaded and installed version 3. I'm really not a lover of using speech recognition, and would like to know if I can use the software in the same way I currently use Radar Contact and PF3, just by using button control? I could well have missed it in the setup guide, but it just seems to be focussed on voice control. Many thanks, Rory Hamer
