July 17, 2025Jul 17 Hi all, Ive been using P2A for a while now and without problems.....except when I want to use PMDG 777 and 747-400. P2A loads up ok and I can load up a flight plan. But, if I load up the aircraft on GPU, for example at EGCC, the active controller box of p2A says _ _ _ _ None 136.975, and the active freq box shows 136.975 with just dashes, while the standby freq shows 121.975 EGCC ATIS. When I click on the active freq box to switch to make the standby freq active, all that happens is both boxes show 136.975 and dashes. there is no communication nor any possible. If I load up the aircraft in default state with engines running, the ATIS is displayed in the active box and the ATIS is automatically playing. In the standby box, EGCC clr_Gnd is displayed, in this case, 121.70. When I click onto the active freq box to switch to gnd, ATIS stops as it should and then the gnd freq is shown as it should do, along with the option to select IFR Clearance, etc. I select IFR Clearance ready to copy IFR Clearance, but when I press the "speak" button, the request is played but there is no response from the controller, no matter how many times I repeat the request.. I am using P2A as fully automatic as I can - not using my voice. I have this problem with both aircraft and using both panel states and its the same at any airport. Do you have any advice for me please? I love the program with my other aircraft! I am using Win 10 with P3Dv5. Many thanks, Rory
July 18, 2025Jul 18 Commercial Member Rory, There are some issues with the Copilot speech being recognized in the 0.2.1 release. These should be fixed in the next release. The aircraft would not be the issue in the case where the frequencies and copilot options are changing as they should. In most cases, using your voice to say the phrase will work. Dave
