  1. Does VNAV work for departures in the Garmin g3000? I've been flying general aviation recently such as the TBM 930 and vnav works fine with arrivals but some of my SIDS i fly out of have altitude restrictions on them and I click the vnav button and enter the final restricted altitude after takeoff and it doesn't climb or meet any of the restricted waypoints, am I doing something wrong or does VNAV in the g3000 only works for arrivals?
  2. My last actual salty sim 74 flight was a long haul from Vegas to Frankfurt and when I land I usually have it at flaps 30 and the speed depends on the autofactors from simbrief but it's usually anywhere from 150kts to 155kts I believe
  3. When initiating the flare at 30ft. Do you slighty pull back on the joystick or use a bit more pressure. This might depend on joystick sensitivity obviously. I've noticed as I pull back the plane will continue to fall hard to the ground at times and slam. Even with a decent approach on the runway. It's like the weight of the plane just comes down hard, i'm having a hard time explaining it haha.
  4. Anyone else genuinely struggle to land this plane smooth recently? I haven't flown it really in awhile since the Fenix A321 and PMDG 777 came out but I've noticed my approaches are fine but the landing it's self can be rather difficult. at the moment I only use a fly by wire joystick by thrustmaster and i'm either coming down too hard and not having enough time to flare or i'm gently flaring the plane and floating down the runway. at the moment I keep AT on during landings if that means anything. Does anyone here have any good tips on how to properly land the 747-8? preferable when to flare etc I'd like my landings to be below 200FPM and close to 1g as possible. I don't seem to have these landing difficulties with any other big aircraft, only the 74. Thanks.
  5. My specs are a RTX 3060 6GB I7-12700h processor and 32GB ram with MSFS installed on my normal 1TB HDD drive, how would that handle?
  6. When you say 50 parked, are you referring to the historical airline slide 1 - 10? I'm pretty new FSLTL to be honest.
  7. What is everyone's FSLTL traffic settings for mid to low range PCs? What would be a good amount of IFR traffic/parked planes etc for a good mix of stable FPS and active air traffic? 20? 30? Genuinely curious.
  8. I tend to get a solid 35 to 40 frames in the air with medium settings, I use programs like auto FPS that help a lot. I also have my frames capped in NVCP at my default of 58 frames (nivida sets it to that whenever I turn it on) tonight in the fenix on VATSIM I got an average of 35 frames in the cockpit and 44 in exterior view. Around airports it will drop to about 28 to 30 FPS. Idk if this matters but my monitor is 2500 x 1600 and 165hz, Edit: there were periods tonight when I panned around the cockpit my frames dropped below 25 for a few seconds and my main thread MS was in the 30s.
  9. I try to clean my fans regularly, for the most part they feel pretty cool when I put my hand over them, my FSLTL settings is 20 IFR traffic and 0 VFR since I fly airliners and long hauls. For the most part I run MSFS at medium settings and use auto FPS to control the LOD. My FPS tonight in the fenix cockpit doing a Atlanta to JFK run was 26 to 28 but exterior view was 36 to 39. Also my laptop isn't even a year old yet I upgraded my previous model last year.
  10. I have a RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 6GBVRAM I7-1200H CPU and 16GB Ram. And a 2TB SSD, I play on a gaming laptop at the moment.
  11. How are you able to achieve this? And yeah I try my hardest to get the most frames out of my system while maintaining smooth preformance. I use MSI afterburner, autoFPS and riva tuner to cap the frames which helps. But the fenix cockpit just brings everything down a ton.
  12. Hey all, I've noticed recently when i'm in the cockpit camera of the fenix a320 lately my frame rate takes a significant hit compared to the exterior view. I get around 40fps with nothing loaded but when I enable FSLTL on low settings it drops usually about 2 or 3 frames which is normal but recently only in the cockpit of the fenix my frames are dropping even more to around 23 to 24 and its starting to get rather annoying while flying in the air, anyone know any possible solutions/fix? My specs are as follows RTX 3060 I7-12700H 16GB RAM 2TB SSD
