Good to see official MSFS folks getting involved here. Steep learning curve on this flight planner. 1. Is there a reason it makes you set your own cruising altitude? That is not really a preference value but a calculated value. Seems strange to start with that as the first step. 2. Shouldn’t it auto-determine departure and arrival runways based on METAR or ATIS? 3. Even when I load a PLN file, it doesn’t load the block fuel, cargo or passengers. Is this expected? Based on a few attempts playing with it, this seems like it would be great for GA or VFR but are we limited to only using this to get important IFR flight planning data into the sim? So far I have not been able to do an actual simulated airline flight in 2024 either through the planner itself or by uploading a PLN which is a head scratcher. Appreciate all the hard work and look forward to future iterations!
