  1. Ah! I uninstalled and deleted everything related to LorbyAAO, in my Documents, the WASM folder deep inside the appdata, the wtg1000 files in the community folder, all of it. New downloads, new install. Same exact behavior. So I try the in game panel, it works, I took off in the 172 and had active gauges in the sim fip window, but still no softkey strings. 🤯 Did some brainstorming, realized OneDrive has been syncing my Windows user folder, including AppData... hmm Turned that off, returned my profile to a non-sync'd, normal file path living at C:\Users (instead of C:\User\One - Drive\ yada... Reinstalled everything again. Boot MSFS2024 and it's not showing the correct community plugins anymore. In the profile sync change I guess it lost my community path (but not my usercfg.opt ?? ) Ok. So instead of changing it I just left it as C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community Placed the wtg1000 folder in there. TADA! Sorry for the ramble of a reply, but we're good to go. I'm not convinced the one-drive thing was the issue. I think MSFS2024 is having issues (based on other threads at the MS forums) with the community folder when you change its location. There are reports of it doing weird read-once behavior. But maybe it was the one-drive thing... who knows. I know when I had in game FIP working but no String, I only had the PFD SOFTKEYS available in the variables list. I now have way more, including the MFD options that were completely missing. Odd stuff!
  2. On top of the great software, crazy fast help. Really appreciate it. I'm almost certain I'm doing all of the above, but let me go verify in a bit when I get a work break. But just to answer off the top of my head: 1. yes separate install of AAO. I actually uninstalled the 2020 version. 2. I think I have the latest wtg1000, I manually replaced it twice. But I do make mistakes, will verify the download. ZZ. 3. Ah! That's good to know, I figured the ones like (L:AaoVoiceRecEngine, String) or the one for file path were AAO ones, but wasn't sure on the SOFTKEYs. Question, am I correct to assume when I do get this working, using the Observe Variables in Simulator tool in AAO to peek the (L:G1000_PFD_SOFTKEY_n, String) variable/s should return a string and not a null []? (assuming the softkey is displaying text within game) I'd rather cut out the Streamdeck plugin as a point of failure and test directly in AAO.
  3. First I want to say AxisAndOhs makes my sim life so, so much better. Excellent work! Having moved to 2024 from 2020, I'm trying to setup the Streamdeck Standard Avionics Suite with the 172 G1000. The softkey buttons work, the flight planning keys work (Direct, Proc, FPL, etc), anything pressable works and interacts with the in-game g1000 (PFD and MFD). However, no strings seem to be returned to AAO so no strings display for any softkeys on the streamdeck. Using the Observe Variables in Simulator tool I'm not seeing anything returned for (L:G1000_PFD_SOFTKEY_2, String) (as an example). It's simply (L:G1000_PFD_SOFTKEY_2, String)[] this is the case for all softkey texts: [WINDOWS] A variable like (L:AaoVoiceRecEngine, String) returns (L:AaoVoiceRecEngine, String): [WINDOWS] but I'm not certain that's actually coming from the sim. AAO 4.51 b09 Latest zzz-lorbysi-aao-wtg1000 in the community folder Not sure what else to check or try.
