Win Wing Sim App Pro set up with MSFS2024
Hi All, Recently I purchased the Win Wing Ursa Minor side stick. My naivety thought me that it would be a simple plug and play with FS2024 but I soon found out that was not to be the case. As all Win Wing users will know that you first have to install the Sim App Pro program and set it up with your installed game. This is where my problems start. How do I link Win App Pro with my installed FS2024 ? I believe you have to map very specific folder paths in the game with the App before you can do any "Key Binding". Is there any good tutorial info available on how to set up the app correctly with the Sim ? Thanks again. Barry

Airbus or Boeing ?
Hi All.. OP here again. Firstly.. a very big thank you to all who replied. Delighted that my first post has generated such good discussion! I have decided to go with Airbus for now. A lot of you have suggested I try both however I want to make the most of my limited time on the sim so I'll focus on Airbus for now. Life is busy and I want to make the most of the few hours per week I get to enjoy the hobby. Study time will also be limited therefore I hope the automation of Airbus will allow me to become proficent for a greater level of enjoyment in the shorter time. Two more questions.. Should I jump righ in and purchase Fenix or is the default A320 a good starting point? Also, can you recommend any good online tutorial or payware courses available to help get started on the aircraft? Thanks again for all your contributions and looking forward to flying the Shamrock in the virtual skies! Barry

Airbus or Boeing ?
Hi All, I’m a real-world PPL (VFR only), though I’ve unfortunately been out of currency for several years! Like many people, my interest in flying originally started with Microsoft Flight Simulator — specifically MSFS 2000 — well before I earned my PPL almost 20 years ago. The last version I owned was FS2004, so I’ve effectively been away from flight simulation for over two decades. This year I decided to get back into the hobby, and before Christmas I invested in a fairly high-end gaming PC so I can enjoy the latest version of MSFS at its best. What I’m hoping to get out of the hobby over the next year or so: My main goal is to become proficient in operating either a Boeing 737 or an Airbus A320. I’m not aiming to be an expert hand-flying ace; instead, I’d be very happy to focus on mastering the aircraft systems and automation — FMC usage, normal airline procedures, full autoland, etc. — to get the most enjoyment and realism from the sim. Before getting too deep into this, I’m planning to invest in dedicated airliner hardware and add-on aircraft. At this stage, though, I need to decide whether to go down the Airbus or Boeing route. So the big question is: Do I invest in an Airbus sidestick and the Fenix A320, or a Boeing yoke and the PMDG 737? Given my objectives for the next year, are they likely to be achieved more easily with Boeing or Airbus? Thanks in advance for your input! Barry
