  1. Hi, how to renove rhis strange sharpness from msfs? The objects edges are like 'dancing'. https://imgur.com/a/cUJam5y
  2. So I've gotten back into flight sim 2020, and I've always used littlenavmap to make flight plans & whatnot. But on my end, version 2.8.11, Tacans and Vortacs are not displayed on the map with their distinctive little icons, I can only see VORs. I never had a navigraph subscription, but I swear I could see these on the map in prior versions.
  3. It is clear the developers spent all their time on scenery and not enough time on air traffic control. I used MFS X for a long time and that ATC module was horrific, but the ATC module for MFS 2000 is even worse! I fly everything IFR on flight plans developed by professional flight planning/airline dispatching software. I have to transfer them into MFS 2000, which takes a while, and then I can go off and fly the route. The whole package is really nice and I like it better than MFS X, but when it comes to ATC I have to say I am totally disappointed. The ATC module uses words and phrases no pilot or controller would ever say. It totally restricts what the pilot can do when interacting with ATC, and if you don't at least acknowledge what the controller says to do it WILL NOT let you go beyond that point or do anything else. Case in point, when flying a Cessna 172, I asked for a different approach from the controller from that which he assigned. MFS issued a completely new clearance and said "Climb and maintain FL180." Obviously, a C172 can't do that and there is no way to tell the controller "unable," which is what I would do in real life. So, in the simulator you must ack the climb but don't climb (to tick the "the aircraft responded" bit within the ATC module,) and request a lower altitude. It stacks that request behind the climb request by saying, "Climb and maintain FL 180, expect 8000 (or whatever you ask for)" -- and from that point on unless you actually climb to FL180 (which is impossible) it does nothing but bark at you to "expedite your climb to FL180." It's an impossible situation -- yet one that is easily resolved in real life. It has caused me to cancel IFR to shut off the barking. And it doesn't help to re-establish contact and ask for a new clearance. It just shoots up up to FL180 all over again, so nothing gained. Another funny one is when flying in northern Texas. It calls the centre "F T Worth Centre" -- spelling out the letters F and T -- instead of saying "Fort Worth Centre." NO controller or pilot would ever do that. It says "tree" instead of "three." I know the ICAO standard says to say "tree," but NO ONE does that. Same for "fife" as opposed to "five." When changing frequency, the controller always says, "...continue as planned, altimeter XX.XX." NO CONTROLLER does that. You check on a new frequency and give your altitude, and the controller just acknowledges you and MAYBE gives the altimeter setting. I have also read, on this forum and others, people saying ATC does weird things to them. I can believe all those stories. The ATC module is totally broken. It is inflexible, directs impossible situations, isn't forgiving to correct errors, and says things no pilot or controller would ever say. I don't know if there is a third-party fix for this, but I would really hope Microsoft assigns some talent to this and corrects the problem. Some of us really do want to use this software for IFR flying as close to the real world as possible, and this ATC module leaves us totally lacking in almost every respect.

  5. So I was flying for the first few times today, I for the life of me could not find a way to get the instrument panel window within my screen like they had in FSX. I would just go to the views tabs up top after pressing “alt” and there would drop down list to bring up different view panels (ex: the throttle area, the altimeter, etc.). I like to have those few panels to drag around when I want to fly from the external camera (like the tail) POV. I see that in the new flight simulator they automatically display the all the readings and altimeter, but no way to adjust them and no throttle. Is there any way to do this? Thanks
  6. Will it be possible to open few windows (PIP) within the simulator to see the cockpit and outer view at the same time ? ( As it was possible in FSX)
  7. Hi All, For the ones, who prefer offline flying with atc, Pilot2atc; which is a very good tool for air traffic control including speech recognition, detailed flight planning and a moving map, is working with MFS2020 via FSUIPC7. I tested and seems to be working fine. But, as I realised, apart from Pilot2atc, FSUIPC is causing dramatic FPS drops. I hope this will be fixed in the near future. I wanted to share this info to whom it may concern. Happy flying...
  8. It would be very nice, if the new MFS2020 will be downloded in few steps. The required part and the optional part that we would choose. For example, we can select the planes of our choice to download at that moment and the rest later, as we wish. This will reduce the download sizes, time and density on the servers.
  9. I have to admit that my mind is pretty numb after watching this roll out. Like most, I expected that it would be a dumpster fire and it was. I live in Pensacola and today I see that the Gulf Coast in expecting not one but 2 possible land falling hurricanes one in LA and 1 on the Alabama/Florida state line. Now I am not talking about in the same year, not even during the same week, oh no! It looks like on about the same day!! I never even thought that was possible! Considering all of the things the world has faced in 2020 I ask you support in a email campaign to remove the 2020 name from this simulator. The year 2020 has become the new Friday the 13th. That you all in advance and I am now going back and crawling under my bed until 2021 and i will be coming out in 2021 and see how things are going.
  10. Hey to everyone I just have installed the Mfs2020 band I decided to instal the a320 mod and when Im using the plane it appears with the panels black, buttons all on but you cant press nothing, and the gear does not appear, if you know what I am doing wrong please help mee :C or at least tell me how to make a complete delete of the mod because it also mess my default a320 it also appear broken. Greatings from Ecuador and here are some photos.
  11. A claim for a World Update dedicated to the major Touristic country of the world 🙂 https://youtu.be/n45lZPfYPKo
  12. Many of us would be happy if Pilot2atc will modify their app to be suitable for MFS2020, also.I think just adating theapp with simconnect would be okey for this (not sure) Some of us like to fly offline with speech recognition. And hopefully speech recognition will be implemented to MFS2020 itself in the near future.
  13. I forgot to create the main folder since I installed the game. so when installation finished. The Community and Official folders are created on C:\Program Files (x86)\ I want to create the main folder 'MFS2020' and move both folders into this for manage it easily in the future. C:\Program Files (x86)\MFS2020\ How do I move it? Thanks, EJ7
  14. Trying to re-ramp up on PILOT2ATC.. I was at PADQ, looking at the taxi way, through PILOT2ATC. It looked a little strange. Is the objective to get to the end of the blue lined area before you will see the tower frequency in the stand-by? Thanks!
  15. It would be great if a 3rd party dev can start to develope a passenger and economy experience add-on for the new MFS2020, as soon as possible !!! (As FSPassenger) Individual and locally running.(not online)
  16. I am wondering, if there will be a possibility again, to have the tower ATC view in the sim ? (as it was possible in FSX).
