Hi,I modified the default 2D cockpit bitmaps and panel.cfg for the FSX Mooney Bravo to properly fit my 1920x1200 wide screen (no more oval gauges!) and I want to share them. I kept the same quality as the original and they look very nice, pretty much exactly like the original except the radio stack is now included without having to do the SHF + 2.The problem is, after getting set to upload the .zip file to the library, I saw the disclaimer that you will not tolerate any copyright violation. So, my question is this: are the modified bitmaps and panel.cfg considered a copyright infringement or is it OK to upload these files? Do I really have to go to Microsoft and ask their permission to share modified bitmaps and panel.cfg?I don't wish to hassle with MS for permission to do this. I will understand if you would rather I don't share my work in this case. I also have other conversions that I could share in the future if I am allowed to do so. I have converted the 2D panel for every plane I fly because I cannot stand oval gauges. I have seen many wide screen conversion attempts and some I keep and use, but most I delete and redo them myself because I like the quality of my work over some others. No offense to anyone was meant in this statement.I would very much like to give back to the community a little after taking so much over the years. This is, to me, no big deal but I will wait for your reply as you know better than I what the law is.Thanks,Dolph98 EDIT: I think I know the answer to this but I left the question so others may know how it is. I will completely understand if you say "thanks but no thanks" to this upload. It's kind of sad to me that we have no real alternative to get wide screen 2D panels without a lot of work. I have been doing these conversions for years and I enjoy doing it, but until now I never considered sharing my work. What prompted me to decide to upload this work was that 1. It came out awesome (if I do say so myself) and 2. I could not find any Bravo 2D panels except for one payware glass cockpit, which I am not interested in purchasing because I want the aircraft to remain stock. I am reading a book right now that has a lesson using the Mooney and when I loaded it up, I had that ugly stretched 2D panel staring at me. I broke down and did the conversion on the spot!
